how come i only find out about this now ????
After playing for so many hoffing years.
This means I closed UT 2.000.000 times too much.
Luckily there's no limit like in the unhacked officexp

Connections--> options--> perform---> server: quakenet ( if im not mistaking)
/j #i4games
/j #i4games.war
etc.

Vainkey is talking about a regular irc client software indeed.
For Unreal Tournament's IRC function it can be set as well by altering your "UBrowser.UBrowserIRCSetupClient" section in your Unrealtournament.ini like this:

Set your username and stuff up in the tools
Then in the status type /server irc.quakenet.org
Once connected sucessfully type /join #i4games
You should then be in
