New Maps

CTF-BT+(i4g)CommunityMap2005



CTF-BT+(CN)DarkTower-v2
Changes in v2 :
- Changed the KeyKicker in the flag room to a KeyZone
- Moved the small blocks inside the tower so the KeyKicker does not interfere with players movements
- Changed the monster key room transluscent texture

Sorry, I mean no offense but I had to include those quotes because of the irony.

I would post this at i4g, but apparently I am applying for a government agency when I try to register there. Sorry, but I don't agree under any circumstances to give somebody my address when I don't even know who you are. Especially over something miniscule as a forum account. If someone who has an account there wants to inform them, be my guest.

Onto the point... I played this map for about 20 minutes or so and already found problems with it. The biggest problem being that I can cap in only a couple of minutes without completing any of the rooms, what a treat!









Maybe this one isn't a bug, but really it has no point.


There may be other things. I didn't play it for very long. If someone else found something, then feel free to contribute.

There is another bug on Watch tower... There is a blocker at the capture but i was able to get through!!

So i capped that map in 42 seconds.. but obvisioly i gave the rec back,,,,..,,.. So there is ALSO a bug in that map.. lol

Idea when making these keykicker things you must always check the radius of them. if the radius is covering the whole entrance you cant get in

yes and someone got the record after looking at this .. mate.... you should have nont shown this.. lauri just got the record after hearing about this...

lol i tried it and it worked but i did not cap.. i just practised the capture area... thanks for letting everyone now the shortcuts Very Happy

If you were talking about me, I was pointing out that the newly released CommunityMap has problems. I did not take part in the creation of the map nor am I even a mapper. If it wasn't me you were talking about, then feel free to ignore this post.

The first screen is interesting.
I'll fix that in v2.

The other screens :
- Number 2 : There was no portal at the beginning. We added it to give some kind of relief to the player because that room was too hard. Som kind of relief, not an entire relief.
- Number 3 : This is not a shortcut "by our standards", you just skip two jumps.
- Number 4 : Yeah jump through it
- Number 5 : There is a purpose, you can heal yourself from utdemon's and infernoxide's rooms

I figured as such, but I mention it because it's very easy to run right off the edge when you enter the room. For someone that maybe had a few keys already and then does this, it's kind of lame. I agree though that it shouldn't cover the second half of the room with the cones.

Yes you are right but let's see it as another difficulty in the map. After all, we are already all lucky Khenbu agreed to put some teleporters in his room Smile

okay, i see in MY room, for some reason you WERE able to go through the blockers. that is fixed right?

when i tested my room, i couldnt go through it, it tested it thoroughly too.

It's not a problem, Clutch. I just had to delete the beautiful snowy garden you made because that created BSP errors everywhere. Removing it maybe allows people to jump through the window in some way but what would be the advantage of doing that anyway ? Smile
Everybody knows it's a game and not real life. The buildings and mountains outside are not real you know Wink
