Checkpoints are now available on BT2 and BT4.

You forgot the part where it says "We've removed checkpoints from BT1."

But Moon, it'll encourage BT2 to get more use if people wanna use cp. And keep BT1 free for real caps. Wink It's gonna be hard being weened off cp but I'm sure you can do it Razz

I think you didn't really get it... they didn't remove cp from BT1, did they?

we actually just need !cp on every BT server imo. its so annoying to practice a sc or a part late in the map b4 rushing it when u keep dying all the time and having to get there again.

hello

its just an idea
but sometimes me and other ppl find it very annoying that players use checkpoints on BT1
yes BT1 is not a rush server but most of the time we try and improve our time. Then its very annoying to find other ppl on the way setting cp's to practice a certain part. Especially on longer maps it is very annoying. They take a mover all the time, go away with the flag, cap without time etc, you get the idea
So why not use the system only on BT2
after all, it is the i4g training server, right?
and maybe that way, more ppl would come to BT2, its always empty anyway so it would be win-win Razz

I didn't like checkpoints much at first but most people respect the other players when using them now and I do appreciate them on harder maps.
I'd say keep them on BT1, you don't want to have players leaving BT1 for BT2 when there are hardly any players as it is!

Ive been asked by many players, to add this to 1 of my servers. Will this be available to download at any time? Or is it staying private? Id love to support the mod by hosting it, and could also offer a donation...?

The checkpoints is a feature of the i4Games mod which is only available on i4Games servers.
There is no plan (nor time) to make a standalone mutator with this though.
