I know null sorry about that....I found out that it is really ridiculous having so many texture packs (after this map and also core-888 were done). I like using a lot of different textures and matching some with one pack with some from another, but after this one and core-888 I just use standard textures and also export and import to my level. Except the fluid ones because my editor crashes if I try and export animated liquid. And also masked doesn't export right either (but at least doesn't crash). With coastal-temple I used a lot of different texture packs but exported most of them except the masked and animated water I had to include those packs. Only problem with coastal is the massive 30 meg audio that I can't figure out why it is that big, and the megalag outside room. (and also the fact that it will NOT let me add any decos or windows or anything else, I can't even make the sky better add a brush and massive HOM, cratering and blocking players...wierd)

Really you used 30+megs of textures? didnt even get on to the server running this map, miss matched fluid.utx

Little tip if you use 1 - 8 textures in one pack thats not a standard texture pack export the ones you use and MyLevel them saves alot of time and makes it quicker to retexture things without having to go thru 10,000 packs. Obviously if all of the these packs are in your UT folder already thats fine but considering im on fresh install 6-8 packs in one map is a bit shocking.

k so finally capped both sides everything works (except of course bsp error on blue side masked grating). Could not fix the masked thing no matter what I tried, but both side keykickers work. The keys are the same (except it seems like 2nd key is just a bit harder on both sides). Finally I can put this one to rest. I got 2 more on the way ( not sure when...)

I'm not sure anyone is watching this thread anymore, but.....
I think what happened is I had placed the key kickers for blue and built then tested and it worked then I think I highlighted the red builder brush (without unselecting the keys) and reset all then I think I must have rebuilt and saved again so that is why you can skip keys on blue.
But now I fixed everything that could be fixed.
V5....holy crap but it's VF for sure.

Ok so I couldnt get blue side masked texture not to be wierd, I tried all sorts of things. Oh well. Now all things work the way they should. Blue side keykickers are on blue instead of red side (still don't know why that happened anyway). So map is now 2 sided instead of 1 side BT+ and 1 side BT-.

OMG I can't believe it! V5 on the way! I thought I tested blue side but apparently the key kickers are not there or are not functioning. edit: So apparently ALL the key kickers are on red side So if you happen to be playing blue (on red side <which you can't> you will have to get the keys). And of course the masked wall in blue key part is messed up. I would have left the masked bsp thing alone but the keys not working? ok I fix again. So until I do just play as red, unless you can't get the keys then play as blue, but of course the record shouldn't be counted because the keys can be skipped. I am trying to get 4th map finished at the moment so I'll fix when I have completed it.

yeay thanks. I thought I had got it but I'm not as good as other people so I wan't quite sure. And now the long awaited v4 (no fog) can be put up and I can work on getting core-888 to finally work online. (still works offline but not online)

OK so I got it working. Fixed a bunch of things (see earlier post) including no fog and also the song is louder (I still can't get the mp3 to it/umx thing right. I still get huge files from small mp3s and they are really quiet. But.... Got the key kick skip bug worked out I think. I can't get past it anymore (once people pointed out that you could skip the keys I was able to do it myself to find out what I needed to fix) but you all are much better than me (especially at bug finding though so I am not absolutely sure. I tested it for an hour each side and couldn't get in no matter what I tried.

OK so I fixed it a whole bunch, but I was still able to at least kind of get stuck after the keykickers, but I got killed by the trap door (so someone better than me can probably still skip the keys). I don't know what to do to fix it. If I up the collision radius (even if I put the keykickers in the trapdoor room it still kicks you so you can't get by the door to get the keys on the other side). On a good note though. I filled in some of the bad spots in the terrain so you don't get stuck anymore. Fixed the trap doors so they open sooner (it is still kind of a trap but less of an instakill and more of a oops I waited to long and got killed) Fog only in the arena. (no fog anymore in the whole level). Although it kind of sucks because I liked the fog. It's like a warehouse near a dock by the ocean (lots of fog) and also it makes the lower section just a bit brighter (my vid card sucks so dark maps are harder for me). But so many people hated the fog so I killed it. I'm going to test some more ways to stop the shortcut, and if anyone has any ideas it would be cool to hear them. If I can get it right I'll upload today. (in about an hour or so)

yeay so my crappy internet connection finally let me cap my own map!
So some advice offline things work differently.
Once you get all the keys and the gates open YOU HAVE TO JUMP INTO THAT ROOM! because the movers don't move right and they will kill you unless you hit the trigger above them first.
and the keys at the top. hold walk and forward dodge up to the platform with the first key.
going left you have to jump just before you get to the middle (where both slopes meet in the center) onto the platform just after the slope then walk up. Going right from the first key you have to hold walk until it doesn't let you go further then keep holding walk and jump forward at the same time 2 times then you can walk and drop on the key below or jump up for the key ahead, and if you do it right you can jump up for the key ahead and as you drop you can hit the key below too.
And happily (at least on blue) the purple forcefields in the flag room are there. I haven't been able to cap on red yet to see if they are there also, but I am out of time until sunday so I have to wait.

OK I got some ideas how to make this map better. I haven't capped this map yet... When it first went up I was playing good but died falling from one of the key spots and then server wasn't recording times (online it was but not on UT). So we voted out the map and the next time I played it I was sucking too much to cap it. The end room doesn't seem to have the purple forcefields ( I was looking from the window in the box jump room). The weapons show up but can't be switched to, but it's instagib so on another server you can switch to the creepinator or the chainsaw so that works. But one of the windows in the arena is black, and the kicker by the door into the key part ( that is supposed to kick you out so you don't get stuck if you overdodge for those high keys there) doesn't kick you out like it is supposed to. The lift isn't as good as it was in the first version. And I think I should get rid of the fog in the BT part and put fog in the arena instead. I like the fog but it doesn't look as good as I really wanted it to. Instead of changing things and releasing V4 tomorrow I'm going to wait and try and get core-888 to work first and then get help on getting the purple forcefields (right after the redeemer shooter) to work and also give this map some time to be played and see if there is anything else I should change so that V4 will be the last fix.

The mapper added the fog, but it seems that some can get rid of a mappers intention with a simple setting in their ini o_O
