I had less fun with this version as it is with keys and no recovery points which makes it more punishing especially the 2 long dodges at the end

While a single bounce does indeed work for the majority of people, it refuses to cooperate with me. I can do a normal bounce once out of three attempts, and walkbounces I lose the majority of the speed on the first bounce in which it will not be enough to pass the gap.

Other than the bounce itself, it was a somewhat annoying yet quite enjoyable map to play.

Yeah I know, I built this map as a real challenge.
I cannot bounce myself multiple times most of the time.
But this single bounce is very easy since I succeed 99 times out of 100.

Why does this have to be the one map you make with mandatory bouncing and no way of return? Bouncing is the most broken mechanic in the game and losing two nice runs there in a row is rather irritating.

I mean sure, maybe the brute can boost you up if you don't get wallglitched on ur way up but you get one chance at that aswell, then you're dead.

This room was made like that by Goa'ulds. It's a golden room.
Untextured means that there is no texture.

Room with key near trophy statues. Still I think rating 8 is too low. :/

Which room is "umtextured" ?

For the difficulties, I won't change anything, sorry.
Making a map less difficult never made it better.
By experience, the things you find difficult now will be easy in some time.

I never looked for making "my best map" nor "my best map ever", I just make maps, end of story.
Talking about maturity does not fit here.
BT is just a game, real life is the stuff that counts.
I am always surprised how much anger some people put into playing games.
Cool down man.

No way it's r8.
Some really innovative stuff, cool atmosphere, nice design of egyptian theme, though some rooms are empty ( one even untextured Very Happy ), also challenging obstacles. Love that long lift rising up a lot! Smile And ofcourse, pictures in PERN"s room aren;t bad either. Razz
But the hell! Room with 13th " Behemoh " key is insane. All those delayed liftjumps and 3 last are incredibly tough since all of them are delayed and it's really hard to practise. :S It can stay since you can repeat this part for eternity, but making it slightly easier near the top would be appreciated.
But the peak of stupidity is placing long left-dodge with just 1 attempt after reaching rooom with lifts I've mentioned above. It's the biggest factor which decide either cap or falling hard with 13 keys in a pocket......
I don't bother trying current version since collecting all keys will take ages and that dodge can destroy and even more annoy. Fix it by adding brush underneath so players can repeat or shorter distance between two poles.
Waiting for -vF2 with one or two stuff ( I've mentioned ) fixed or I don't bother wasting time on this map anymore.
I'm more than sure you will reply something like " Sorry if it causes so much trouble in your life. "
What a pity then. if fixed at least one CRAZY stuff, It could be easily the best map CN ever made.
Hope you take it into " mature " consideration and make few minor adjustments anyway. Unless, nvm. Rolling Eyes

Stargate SG-1 was one of my favorite TV series.
The story is the sequel of the movie where they found the first Stargate buried in the egyptian desert.
This stargate was leading to Abydos, a planet far away.
The military crew sent there finds out that the egyptian mythology was based on a simple fact: Egyptian gods were aliens called Goa'ulds.
In the series, they also find out that there are many stargates leading to different places in the universe.
This map is my tribute to this fantastic sci-fi adventure.

This is the final version.
Thanks to all the players who tested, especially the first version with the "online bugged lift".
