What you describe is maybe 1% of maps.
If people don't like them, they do not vote for them.
What you call "lame" and "crap" makes the joy of some players.
It does not threaten BT at all unless for some well known elitist lobby...

You can disagree, afteral that is your opinion. And I do not agree with: "A good flow means good to rush"

What I am trying to say with this map is not the horrible texturing or layout designing. But the idea of obstacles and traps placed in the map. People think it is funny to add plenty of "lucky dodges" or "small squares over lava". The whole message is that everyone can create a "difficult map". Why do you think most mappers actually do put effort in their maps. They blend the obstacles and traps inside their map so it looks and feels good. This actually creates a flow. A serie of pole jumping is not a flow but more like a sign of unoriginality. I have seen also plenty of goodlooking maps which fail horrible. Why ? Because their traps are repeated over and over except becoming harder each time. Also plenty of goodlooking maps use the "small poles/blocks over instant kill fluid" traps. I call that unoriginality, being unable to come up with better ideas for traps and obstacles. A goodlooking map with endless dodgeramps over pits, I call that unoriginal. It is so easy to put these kind of traps in your map. It takes almost zero effort/designing and adds "BunnyTrack element" to the gameplay. And I could go on and on with this list but like you said: At the end it depends on the mapper.

I am not saying we should all make good looking maps. No. People should quit making lame maps with lame ideas and lame gameflow. I spectated yesterday quite a while and noticed that almost 90% of the people fail at the lava dodge part. There is no much skill involved, except the fact that you need to dodge at the right moment. The map being voted over and over for rushing is perhaps logical; people do not care, it's new and just play for the record. Has nothing to do with the map being popular. But the positive side is, people can read the messages more often.

Builders should learn to balance their map with the various of traps, not repeating the same trap over and over in their level. I could care less if the map had no lightning and only square rooms. My Mountainbase level sucks hard in looks, same goes for SpaceBunnies. But they are rated high in gameflow. Not because of the rushing, because I don't use repetitive traps in the map.

Do I need to say more?

You called your map "Save Bunny Track".
Does that mean BT is under threat? Razz

I totally disagree with your opinion (as discussed on the server) because a map with good design and good flow does not mean it is a fun map to play for everyone.
A "good flow" means it's good to rush but rushing does not define BT as a whole.
There's also the fact you have to leave a chance for new mappers to get better.
Everyone is not gifted for design and everyone has not the will to spend hours on a map.
As I already said, BT depends on mappers.
Even if some maps can be considered as badly designed (I am not talking about bugs here), they are still part of making BT alive.

Apart from all that, it is quite funny to see you providing what you consider as "crap" to avoid it.
It would be like an anti-terrorist squad blowing a bomb.
More funny is to see the map voted over and over because it's challenging for rushers.
Do I need to say more ? Wink

Yes, perhaps in the future I will use the 1st and last room to create something serious next time. For now, this will do. I need to recover for a while now >.<

Quoted from the readme:

As a usual BunnyTrack player again latetly on i4games server, I noticed alot of BunnyTrack
maps keep appearing. But they are not ordinary BunnyTrack maps.
I am kind of sick and tired of these low quality / 10min maps with extreme "original" gameplay.

Therefor I created this extremely crap map. Now before you go: "OMG KAPLAN, WHAT DID YOU DO!!"
Calm down, this map was made to provide the players with some information, hopefully they will
understand it. Same goes to the builders who will boot up the map in UnrealEd or play it.

Everyone can make a BunnyTrack map. But a 6 year old can create more original gameplay and difficulty.
So may I present you: Save BunnyTrack aka BT-STOPITNOW.unr

The map contains few rooms that are designed in the most horrible way I have seen. Infact the map
hurted my eyes and feelings so much I stopped after a few rooms. I also wanted to add some ridiclious
crushers, repeatitive endless dodge ramps but I got so sick of the idea that my stomach could not
endure it longer. In order to think about my health and stomach I decided to keep it limited.
Enjoy, or should I say do not enjoy...

Oh and if you are wondering why the hell this map took me two hours? The start room and final room took me
60% of the total build time. The buildin messages and bulletin boards costed me 25% of the time. 5% for
constantly rebuilding the map to test/see the results. And the other 10% is OBVIOUSLY for designing the
crappy rooms. Go figure out what 10% of 120minutes is. I'll do it for you: 12minutes
