That comment explains fairly well why it lags then...glass = bad Very Happy

Doing that wasn't possible bon, you miss the platform (the ramp thing is too close to the edge) and can therefore not bounce at all. It was the first thing I tried Mad

Roel: I didn't bother getting further than the room after laser fall on blue so I don't know for sure. Pretty much all movers until that room were invisible, though.
- Change the health thingies so that they actually work.
- The bouncer before platform jumps that lead to the ventilation shaft that takes off 72 hp mostly bounces far too short (me at least). This one here
- In the Very long sequence room when exiting you sometimes can't enter because it's somewhat narrow. Add a small ledge there to land on?
- Rush way (B1) before lift shooting is not possible(?)
- The lift ride with 4 shots is lagging a lot, at times you can barely see through the glass nor the holes that you need to shoot through.
- The radius on most targets is too small for the size of the target, in my opinion.
- On blue side there's a sheet (or non-solid brush) after you've shot the mover at laser fall.

Other than that it seems pretty fine.
Btw, health packs etc work on my server so the problem lies with i4g.

Is further in the map "rush way" really based on one of those buggy bounces ?

Ok, I want to know some things, cause I'm trying to fix the map at the moment:

- You mention almost all movers on blue are invisible. Is this based on the first 4 rooms, because you couldn't get any further, or the complete blue base? 'Cause I did find a problem with the brushes in the first 4 rooms of blue, but not the other rooms.

- Then, is there any way so movers don't get invisible?

- What are the bugs on red exactly? I just tested it with pawel and I din't see anything major...

Paweł, the map is really great. Long and complicated. I saw a few mistakes, but it's not your fault. I was so alone that testing the offline was fine and the server has not played anything. It is an issue and general settings, ping the server. For it is often great ideas on the map are killed. Personally, I wish you luck and I'm impressed that you decided to make such a complex map.

The standard instagib-mod 'destroys' certain inventory-actors, unless the bGameRelevant property for those actors is set 'true'. I'm not sure if the i4games-insta-mod is doing the same, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Either Nav did something special to make them work regardless of settings or you need to add exceptions in i4g settings because they are most definitely not available in this map.

i4games mod does support the health packs (see CTF-BT-SpaceCraft for instance)

i4g bt mod does not support normal health packs as far as I know. Nali fruits or health regenerative zones work for that. Actually, come to think of it.. just how many BT servers are there that supports anything that doesn't belong in instagib? Two, at most. How many servers are there? 30+.. go figure.

The map 'works like a charm' offline perhaps, but offline there is no ping so you can't really tell if timings are way too tight for people above 50 ping. The lift with the 4 shots lags beyond hell (which should have been expected) and the radius on the 4 shots on that lift seem a little small. It's online the map needs to work so please do test maps online before releasing..

I almost forgot.. there is that one bouncer across the slime gap where there are moving platforms on one side and solid platforms on the other side. This bouncer does not work for shit. 7/10 I fell short regardless of how I tried to approach it. It's the one before the vent shaft that takes off 72 of your health.

Just another question here, how exactly did you plan B1 (Rush way) room to be doable?

This is extremely weird. I have spent a lot of time trying to fix this map (Pawel asked me to), and offline the map worked like a charm. The map is too hard for me, so I asked Pawel to test it all again, and he didn't complain. About the HP, isn't there a super +200hp healthpach after the part where you take a dive in slime and descent afterwards? It should be....

...this map made me rage beyond compare as Niko said we spent quite some time trying to find out if its capable or not.. to just find out its not. blue was completly unbearable. some of the timings are just so damn tight that its not fun anymore... Execution was also ripped off in this map.. but of course I do not see how you could have not tested out the remaining HP... I do not even see how you can not see that while you were testing it your map... it is beyond me.

Nop, map isn't cappable. It requires 250+ HP to cap and that's if you're lucky. Great work on testing the map. Blue is completely unplayable because 96% of all movers are invisible.

Map removed..... Pawel go test your map on BT2 (maybe with others) because there are so many errors, especially on blue (invisible buttons & movers ect.).
And is this map even possible to cap since you lose lots of health at parts?
Map has more bugs on blue but also test red !!!
