Like the subject title says... I hate to say this, but it seems to me that from day to day things are getting lamer on the iCTF server... :/

Players are turning more and more to assing, flag camping/sitting, and just in general laming with no intention of deffing or attacking... Frags and flag kills, seem to be the only things that alot of players are intressted in. If this contenues then we are going to loose alot of good players that like playing as a team and not just try to get as many points as possable.

I'm not saying that I'm a saint and only play "right", but u don't see me ass all the time or tunnel lame... as most regs know you will find me in an attack or covering attack role when playing here or anywhere else...

just wanted to get this off my chest... it's very disturbing the way things have been going here the last few weeks and I needed to say something about it...

if u wanna DM, please go shoot some monsters on the MH server Wink

i know what you are saying,mate,and we,the trustees and admins are doing our best to be there to stop the laming. Just never forget that alot of new players are here and never forget your first time playing UT Wink

. I didnt know what camping was,and hell yeah,i was camping.
Though it is very frustrating to see old regular players behave lame and play only for the frags. Just keep your chin up,rox,we know your a fair player, and continue your gaming as you have. All you can do really is to tell new players what they are doing is not acceptable,and if that doesnt help,call for help in the admins channel on irc, which i know you do.
Anyways,hope you feel better now, and don't let them ruin your play! Cool

That is exactly why I almost completely stopped playing on any free-for-all server.

It just isn´t funny anymore, in the last weeks I am just playing MH or funwars/clanwars. Everytime I play ffa, I quit after one map, because I got bored/lamed...

I hope it will be getting better again, just like in the old days...

Yes mate. I myself did something last night that I consider lame and now regret it. Thank you to Merc Master for picking me up on it. Nuke Defending is a bad thing TBH and although it was meant with the best intentions I feel sorry I did it now. So I think that really we should all take a quick over view of our game and just ask ourselves, is that really lame?

Then again, someones definition of lame may not be the same as someone elses........... Wink

I had to warn some ppl last night. It's probably just a phase for new members, but I'll keep a close eye on the server this week.

Don't get me wrong... I'm not blaming anyone but the players themselves! I don't blame the Admin/Trustees because I know that they can't be there at all times. And besides that, they usually do a damn good job (if I've said it once, then I've said it a hundred times... "Thanx to all Admin and Trustees for the good work!!!")

It's not just the n00bs that are laming eather... I've seen very experianced regs doing it lately too... most of the n00bs that I've seen lately just run around in circles like a chicken with its head cut off... But when long time Regs start doing it (no names, but they know who they are) then it really is a shame... when I play a map like D_D][ and usually have a point av. between 50 and 100+, and then play a match with -25, because half the other team are tunneling our doorway and almost noone can get out of our base, then it really is lame playing. If they were trying to get into our base, I wouldn't say a thing about it... but thats just it, they wern't trying to get into base, they were just shooting fish in a barrel... Rolling Eyes

It's really sad to see those things, and I don't like to complain about it, but I am really getting disturbed by the way things are going lately...

maybe its just the winter blues that make ppl do these things... with luck it will clear up by springtime Wink

Hmm glad Z started this subject,about lameing on i4games ctf server so it aint just me who thinks this.I think the bomb and speed should be gone now its not fun anymore getting the flag and being killed by a suicide bomber isnt funny,when i play on the server now which is very rare indeed if someone does that to me i just suicide then they don't get the points cause thats what it is all for the points,how many points can we get on i4games its not about teamplay ,tactics or fun,just the points... Rules have been updated in a way that such things shouldn't happen anymore hopefuly.

I've briefed the trustees to apply these rules at their best.

Marre de répéter qu'il y a des lamers (assrun + camp) mais aussi certains qui ne jouent pas le jeu du CTF mais uniquement du DM et des point sur i4G.
Que certains admins ne se plaignent pas alors d'avoir des joueurs comme moi qui se plaignent constamment pour être entendu. Marre aussi du copinage, parce que certains sont des "copains" on laisse faire...Bref une règle se doit d'être respecter un minimum...La règle du "whining" elle est prise au pied de la lettre alors pourquoi ne pas faire de même avec celle du "camping" et de "l'assrunning" et des "joueurs persos" ?
Et désolé pour les nouveaux mais eux on peut les excuser au début mais pas les anciens.
Désolé d'écrire en francais mais pour moi l'école c'est fini depuis belle lurette et l'anglais c'est du chinois (enfin presque)...Donc merci si quelqu'un pouvait traduire ce texte.
HF et "merde" aux irrespectueux (même si certains pensent que j'en fais parti, ils se trompent, faut juste pas me faire C....)
