Why Keep trustees who don't play here often

as the topic says why do i4g keep trustees who don't play here regular . got you thinking

I think there isn't necessary to play every week to be a trustee.. Wink

want to be a trustee here ? no thank you got newer games and clans to play ...ut99 was a good game but technology and games has moved on from ut 99 any chance of a battlefield 2 or a quake 4 server medic ? lol or u stuck in the old ages (1999)

This is founded and supported for the insta UT only and i believe its not i4games stratey and objective to concentrate on other games Smile

Imo it still is populair and communities like this makes it still worth to continue playing.

Wrong question missy.
The problem would not be to keep trustees that don't play often anymore, but to get more trustees if there's the feel there's not enough of them.
Because if a trustee don't play anymore/often, I still trust him/her nevertheless and is always welcome here.

About newer games...
BF2 has many issues if you're an admin (and a player as well). I've been following the BF2 admin mailing list and I've seen more angry people than happy ones so far.
And Q4 has some gameplay problems so I've heard.
So these are 2 games I'm not really up to host anytime soon.

Furthermore, it's not about tech specs, it's about gameplay. In our humble opinions, UT has a very good gameplay and should still keep us busy/happy for years. Wink

i think its not bad question a trustee who plays 1 time in week? why? a trustee is for looking that no lame on server or i understand it wrong? and if he is 1 time in week on server LOl this is for nothing :O correct me if im wrong =)

I could say the same thing then about players, that don't come here often, should have thier account disabled...

Just because alot of the Trustee's arn't on when your playing, dosnt mean that they are not available to help out in any way needed. Almost all of the active Trustee's are on mIRC as much as possable and will give any help needed to a player, if possable.

I think Medic said it best by saying "Because if a trustee don't play anymore/often, I still trust him/her nevertheless and is always welcome here."

tbh... Jvnkie is one of the best Trustee's i4g has, and even if he only comes here every so often, it would be a sad loss if Medic would take away his Trusree priviliges and replace him with someone else. This goes for all other inactive or half active Trustee's. It's alot better just to take on new Trustee's to fill the gap in online watchfulness.

I understand the point that missy wants to make. I use to think that also: No Trustees around most of the time...

BUT since I use mIRC now I know that most of the Trustees can be found in the [i4G] IRC-channels. So there will always be someone around if you need one.

Even if a Trustee can only play/spec once a week , at least they are keeping an eye on what is happening on the server while they are there .

That time may be when none of the other trustees can be there , so as TESCO says :-
