My ping result @ 30/11/2005 16:09:29. Running @ 60 Fps.
Current I4 games datacenter: 19 ms over 7 hops.
Future I4 games datacenter: 21 ms over 8 hops.

This are my most common speeds, so it doesn't really matter for me it is always around 30 ms, but 4 hops less Very Happy

your reply came back 62 ms (milliseconds) after is was send.
compared to the current datacenter, thats (only) 1 ms higher.
The hops means that in order for a ping to reach its desteny, it needs to make usage of network devices. Each device the ping package encounters is counted as 1 hop.

i havent run the ping test but since the new score system has com on the i4games server i seem to have high pings or a low ping then a massive ping spike Confused

maybe this may be my connection, has an1 else had this problem?

I like this one, but is that a bug or something, sometimes i get 0 ms at the new server Wink

To feurs: Dunno what your normal ping is, but i think 77 is pretty bad, when i have that i quit it is unplayable for me Shocked

I normally have 20-30 if it is above 40-50 I don't play, then I don't hit anything (normally neither but a little more Wink

)

A 0 ms result is actually a timeout. So that is a bad sign there...
What could be concidered as a "bug" is the fact that the tool gives "0" instead of "timed out".

Djdano, you & myself got this occasionally towards the new datacenter. Lets just hope it doesn't happen to often as it would increase our pingspikes.

A little more technical:
Heaving said that, the "hops" are still shown, this means that during the test the calculated hops are successful. In my tool, the hops are also to be concidered as a ping package which has a size of 32 bytes. The ping package that is send after the hops calculation has a size of 512 bytes. In general the bigger the size of a package, the higher the chance of a timeout.
