i get a version mismatch for UT pure after playing on the ictf first and the the itdm server ...
can you do anything medic?

There are 4 different versions of UTureRC6C 
The solution is to clear your cache, so that you'll download it again from the server.
The version that runs on the i4Games server is the latest "official" from the unrealadmin.org website.
Hopefuly, UTPureRC6D should be out soon...

BTW, could you add UTv440 clients to be recognized to the pure .int just like 451 is ?
I really wouldnt like to downgrade to 436, 440 worked fine on all servers with pure v. less than 6C,
ATM i need to rename 440 & 451 System dir-s for different servers.
?

Why did you upgrade your client to 440? The 440 patch was only intended to servers.
Install the 451 client patch then.

btw, should i patch to 451? will i be able to pla both ictf and itdm on i4games? im confused by your message in the announcements.

Normally, it should work because we installed RC6C but I would not advise to do it yet because you wouldn't be able to play on any other server if they are not running RC6C.
The best thing to do would be to wait for the green light that we won't miss to turn on at the right time

In summary:
Players with 436... stick with it for now.
Players with 440 or any other beta/non-client upgrades... upgrade to 451 (or re-install the 436 patch).
