laggy players are doing my head in,sorry but some of these guys does my nut in i can stand behind them sometimes and shoot at him and ...nothing it misses .Also is there a speed cheat out there not the speed relic but i chased someone the other day who did not have the speed relic ,he ran with no jumps or anything..i did the same and i could see him pulling away from me it was very strange.I have noticed this on other servers too.
i am definitely getting worse though for some reason .

I comiserate with u franki....im one of those laggy players but think mate how would u feel to be locked out of a server which u enjoy alot.Isnt just a games server its a community and i for one have been playing on first 3d win and then i4games as it became known for 2 years now.i would be heart broken if i couldnt play on it.....The server lags for me(its my modems fault)but some of us don't have the option of dsl or cable in their region yet....Blame british telecom and their over cautious approach to dsl in britain

maddog ,i know mate,i wasn't saying ban laggy players just how frustrating it is..i don't find you too bad in all honesty ,i just got freaked out this morning standing next to pablo shooting him and seeing it miss constantly ,i love seeing all the players from bel4games ,most play the game the way it should be played.The server is very laggy for us brits though ,i was watching the ping the other night and i was fluctuating from 45 to 180 i have minutes where i kill evrything and minutes where i miss everything ,im playing more ut2003 cos im findind the servers or net code or whatever more reliable.
Have you tried cable ? I just changed over to ntl from bt.

people remember its a public area....you cant ban normal ppl, okeeh lamers and aimers may be banned but anyone else no!... you have 2 except it that not every one is rich and lives in a big neighbourhood with cable ore has a nice dad that say: Okeeh son lets buy some cable ore adsl!  ! there are ppl that cant avored it! respect them how they are! and kill those suckers

Got the very same prob all the time mate, and a pal of mine that used to work for my cable-ISP (@home in the Netherlands), explained to me that that simply IS the problem with cable. Cable = never stable. DSL on the other hand may have the same or a little higher ping, but is nice and stable most of the time.
I do really think tho that we need to embrace new or even older players with a slower connection (i.e. modem) instead of chase them away, however difficult or frustrating it may get sometimes to hit them actually. 
Everyone who wants to, should get a fair chance to enjoy this great community... regardless of age, nationality, wealth or connection-speed. Xept for lam0rz and aim0rz ofcourse, but that's off-topic again.. 
And to Mad_Dog:
Try to ignore the d00d that told yah to 'sod off' mate and think of the huge amount of peepz here that rather have you around playing with a bit of lag, than not have you around at all..

Maddog... i was play9ing that game where that dude was having a go,he was a good player as it happens but moaned too much and used some very lame tactics.
I never said ban laggy players,I just said they píssed me off sometimes.

think about the poor sod with the laggy server,one min we are there next min we half ran off he`s been shot and wondering who by,i used to play on ut with 56k connection it is really bad but if you like the game you still play and do the best you can.best thing to do with a laggy player is don't aim at them aim in front of them i do this all the time with McTERRY!
