intall UT 99 on linux ?

I would like to install UT 99 on linux but I don't know how and if it's possible.

afaik you just install it from the cd?

Just ignore any talk about a dedicated server. The install should still go the same way.

I have lost my cd, so i just have the game on my PC (GOTY edition), I know it works when you simply copy the repertory on an other PC but how does it work if i want to play on Linux. I would like to know it before trying to install linux.

go to the MeRc public IRC and ask oWn][Sword... I know he runs UT on Linux and is true Linux maniac... maybe he could help you out. #]MeRc[ is our IRC chan. Or maybe you could PM him here on the forums and get an answer quicker... Sword is hard to get a hold on IRC due to real life ;P
