I use internet transactions (via 'de postbank') to donate money, but when I sent money to an other country, like Belgium (I live in the Netherlands) it is well...kind of weird. When I fill in the form on the website, I can choose of 3 options how the transaction costs could be devided.
1. The costs (almost € 8,-) are for me.
2. The costs are for i4games.
3. Split the transaction costs.
Even when I filled in the IBAN/BIG code, the transaction has still to be payed.
What now?

With IBAN, you shouldn't have fees within Europe countries. 8 EUR sounds high too. You sure you didn't enter 10,000 EUR instead of just 10 EUR?

No I did'nt. It does not matter how much money I transfer, Each transaction has € 8,- transaction costs. Very weird indeed.
I think i'm going to call 'de postbank' and ask for some explanation.

that's because 'de postbank' is not a real bank.
It's something between a postal service and a bank.
We don't have that in belgium. It's almost the same as paying with a post cheque if you want to do a transaction that way.
I once payed a dutch server (money went from Belgium - Holland) and I payed with a normal bank to 'de postbank'.
As 'de postbank' has slightly other numbers, there is a fee to be payed which is indeed very high.
I payed double cost for my contribution to the server.
Second time I payed I just bought an anniversary card for the one who payed the server and put cash money in it
Can't you use a normal bank buh?

I think your mistaken. 'De postbank' is just a normal bank, and has nothing to do with a postal service.
