what exactly is a buddy, what does it allow etc.

Buddy is like friend. Adding ppl allows you to see if your buddies are online (IRC or server) and writing PMs (shorter than memberlist search). As far as I know thats all. Smile

It Also tells u where they r on which server and oif they are IRC and so on very useful tool to have if u wanna play with a mate and cant get to him via msn or so on
