Does anyone know how i get my Ut to minimalize Fast (alt+enter) it takes about 1 min total (im using direct3d)
with OpenGL it goes real fast. anyone know why this is ? is it possible to change the minimalize speed for Direct3d ? Sad Laughing

i had the same problam when it was mimaseid it was like yours but i added extra RAm it made it go super fast

may not be realvite but wat can i say i am a arse

If yer want to stick with d3d you might consider using D3D8Drv instead of normal D3DDrv. But this was already somewhere in past posts.. Laughing

Depends on what your graphics card supports. Its also half decent if you download the D3D8 Driver. Smile

Also on the free RAM... afaik D3D uses up more than OpenGL

i had long same problem, then i format my hd and setup all new, and since then it take only 5 seconds Very Happy

I can minimise rather quickly, but when I maximise again I have a crosshair and a cusor... and that totally drives me nuts. I think this is due to the fact that I use open.GL... so I get by this by quiting UT, and restarting again, it takes longer but at least I retain my sanity Razz

atm i use D3D on this PC at my moms.

At my dads its OpenGL and i get same problem as rox.. Really annoying when i used to be in a clan trying to get players lol

Try this version of D3D, its updated and switches very fast between fullscreen and windowed mode:
