I never have music when playing UT. It distracts me, and I wouldn't hear anything, cuz when I play I'm in a 'trance'.
Anyway, the classical music is far more then wolfgang amadeus mozart !!! so much more. I have hundreds of nice cd's with much better music then mozart, but i get the point anyway.

To me:
no music during UT
when music:
I listen to everything, except german and flemish schlagers!

Top categories at the moment:
- Movie soundtracks (orchestral)
- Classical
- Jazz
- Blues
- Prog Rock (Dream theater rocks em all!!!)
- Hit list music (less and less, because atm you need to listen sooooo many songs before even hearing a good one) --> to me: back to the 70's and 80's!!

It depends on my mood when i play and exactly what catagory i play,sometimes i listen to E.S.Posthumus while playing iCTF, and sometimes i listen to NIN while playing BT, or sometimes SOAD when playing iDM, it changes alot when i play a catagory.

CTF-E.S.Posthumus.
BT-NIN
iDM-SOAD
DOM-Pearl Jam
AS-Infected Mushroom
LMS-(Either SOAD or Paul Oakenfold)
MH-Nickleback.

I listen to almost all music too. Except hardcore house/trance (I mean the 200 bpm ones) Daftpunk I like, but I don't think it's trance..
Also classical, mostly piano. Have a lot of CD's with Chopin, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Beethoven, Grieg, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Moussorgsky (Pictures at an exhibition), Liszt...
Listen to alot of other stuff. I like System of a down, Moloko, Wir sind Helden, Air, Hooverphonic, Queens of the stone age. Older stuff like Queen, Steve Miller band, David Bowie, Kate Bush, Manu chao.

Those are my favorites, there's alot more! Cool

Mostly Hardcore. Like Gabber or Freeform etc..
But it's gets noisy sometimes so I often play without music. =)

Don't listen to any music when playin' UT, in fact I even have tha in game music off too. Wanna be able to hear them footstepz behind me or when someone takez shieldbelt/amp etc. I should turn it back on for BT tho but I never do itz just tha way I've alwayz played Wink

can post you playlist if you want, there's really many genres in. (some performers: depeche mode, lagwagon, linkin park, soundgarden, PPK, darude, R.E.M. ...)
