The problem is that people can't give the credits where they are due to. And this because of the lack of knowledge/culture/information/whatever.

There's nothing really wrong into making a remix. It helps hearing an old song again differently. But some remixes are just plain crap or sabotage of originals.
What is wrong is that most listeners don't even know it's a remix and put all their worshipness on the remixers.

Remixes do not make old songs sound better - they make them sound "updated". For a dancefloor freak, that DJ Tiesto remix of Adagio for strings may be better. But for me, it's really a poor remix. Even for a trance tune it is really poor. It's too slow and defenitely too flat. The original makes me shiver - the remix makes me yawn (that's just me of course).

I know quite a few trance producers (thanks to my software), and I'll always give them more credits than to people like DJ Tiesto even though their composition will barely leave their room and my website. Smile

I just like to congratulate someone who works hard on his music and hate when someone who spent 2 hours on a remix to be worshiped like it's been the case for that DJ Ratking or something. Mr. Green

DjRankin and all the other suckers don't even take 2 hours. They just place stuff over and cut things out lmao.

Top DJ's who remix music, create there own tunes etc etc. Are at least a month to remix a song. Whever thats because of there job, or whatever I don't know. But I can EASILY grab any old tune, speed in up, add some pointless bass. Speed up lyrics, add them in. In less than 15 MINUTES, Possibly even less than 10. Give me and some legal track and I'll do it. Wink

But I will promise you, It will sound pointless and absolute crap. Thats what DJ Rakin probaly did, Goes off, downloading tracks illegaly off the net. Wonders what happens if its sped up, then thinks Ooo! What would it be like if I added some werid rapping lyrics and sped them up too! Copy and paste into his speeded up song. Then add a bunch of other pointless stuff.
