Today is a special day as it is the 4th anniversary of the i4Games community!

To celebrate this event, the CTF1 server will run with 20 slots!

Four years ago, the i4Games website came to life, with a forum to offer our players a way to meet, discuss, debate, and have fun.

The community never stopped growing ever since. Here are some figures:

14000 members
from 1500 to 2000 posts per month on the forum
700 active players per week
20 trustees and 3 admins to police the servers
from 90 to 100 idlers in #i4Games in peak hours
360 photos in the gallery
2 real i4Games babies! (That we're aware of. )

Reaching the situation where i4Games is today had a cost though. A lot has been invested into material stuff (hardware, bandwidth, etc.) but mostly and especially into human resources whose role is to keep a quality of service which made the essence of i4Games.
(And I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the trustees who are donating their time and doing an amazing job at keeping the servers sane and free of any cheating or laming.)

Last year we introduced the donation system which allowed you to take a little part into the investment required to run i4Games. I wish to thank again those who contributed generously. However, we are still far from covering all our expenses. This is why we are kind of forced to apply restrictions if we want i4Games to stay alive for the years to come. And I hope you will understand this.

We all wish to see i4Games being up and running for many more years, because, besides providing fun and enjoyable servers, i4Games is a community where people have established good friendships, and also gives people a place to learn and gain experience from each other.

congrats i4games! still my favourite servers to play on. no laming (normally lol), great bt server with awesome challenging maps. unlike most places, the people here are really nice too, proud to be an i4gamer.

great work from medic/cn, trustees and people that helped i4games grow to what it is today!
