i voted yes. Whatever interests ppl can be in place here.
It's a community, and communities share everything with each other.

voted yes. Much more clarifying to create a sepereate forum for music (also for sports imo) next to the 'Random Talk'.

nah i don't think it would be that good. people would start flaming each other for the type of music they like, and i4g has coped happily without until now!
also, you could just create a Sticky topic in Random Talk, and use that. Lower profile but same effect. Smile

the fun thing about one big general forum though: is that there's always something new to read

with everything being split up you'l come with a bunch of categories with only a couple posts now and then making the forum look less active (and in that way causing people to post less, just a theory.)

I agree. But we don't have that many sections still. And I somewhat feel that people will talk more about music here if they see there's a dedicated section for it.

Yes, there are a lot of music topics in the randon talk-part,since that is a very popular one, topics drop very soon and can't enjoy the attention that they deserve.

I'm interested to see what's going to happen with my topic...what music are you listening to atm? It fits in both, but from subject it would be a nice introduction to move it to the new forumpart.
