during bt i have found out that on some servers when ppl take the flag it still stays there so others can cap but on i4g the flag goes with the carrier so no one else can grab it if they behind him/her just an idea to get the MOD on our server unless u don't want to or had it

no, he means that when there are 2 people close to the flag, and one grabs, the other has to wait for him to cap/die because there are no multiple flag thingys.

Due to historical reasons (mainly the log parser), we did not implement this.
Maps that had the two flags too widely separated (a few maps only) unless they create instant death (flag return) if you miss have not been put on or asked to be changed.
Flags are just there to indicate you have reached the end of the map. There is no point in separating them too much.

Ah I get it now.
CN for UT3 possibly we should find a way to eliminate this flag thing like it was meant. i.e In creating an actor that is a zone info or something to show the "finish line"

I think Krool worked on that some time ago. (If I am not mistaking)
I don't know if it would be a solution to remove flags because they are also part of decoration and strongly anchored in the game. Also, in some maps, two flags separated are needed, the first one playing the rĂ´le of "key" as in BT+. I am thinking about the numerous maps where you have to climb to grab the flag and fall to cap.
The "cap zone" might be a nice feature to add to BT+. It would give an alternative design possibility to the mappers, although I am not sure it would be widely used.

Cap the map in BT1, if you wanna improve your time, go to BT3 or BT4 (You need to pay for the last one).

with the fall maps, just have a normal key at the top where the first flag would be situated, and then the second flag would be the finish line. surely it would be possible to have a vertical finish line (ie one that you fall through)
i think this is a really good idea, cos it would stop the times when you get the flags mixed up and go to your team's one first.

im worried that this idea will change cap times. on very tight records maybe this new finish line will make your cap a little faster/slower.. this could screw up alot of hard worked records if its not made 100% accurate.

I never thought about it but a Zone entrance should be more subject to ping.
