First impressions on the Unreal Tournament 3 Demo

doubt it since my pc doesn't allow me to play UT anymore. whenever i have to dld a file of a server my UT just crashes. and no one finds a solution so no point in playin g UT anymore.

I also played COD4 demo and i have to say i'm more willing to start playing COD and not Unreal series anymore Wink

COD4 will get boring after a while due to it's lack of customization. However, it is a great game though. Btw there is no Demo for cod4, it's a beta. Razz

I couldn't start it, crashes instantly. But I am not really sorry about that :E

From what I've heard of most ppl who played it, it's way closer to UT2k4 than to UT (ca. 70/30).

I doubt I'll play it in the near future and even if I buy a new PC, the first game (after UT!) I will most likely play, is not UT3, but Crysis d:E

I've played it a few times now, and I'm really impressed Very Happy

My computer currently can't run it on the best video settings - I'm going to get a better one soon lol
Obviously this game is visually amazing, it looks so real and you can really get into it. NuLL will orgasm haha Razz

Nice weapons, some good ideas but basically more of the same. Some great effects and satisfying all round Razz

The vehicles are actually not a drawback imo, they can get annoying but most of the time there are some that aren't being used - they respawn quickly - so there's usually something you can fight back with Razz

The hoverboard is fantastic, you can use it at any time and there's a feature where you can grapple onto your team's vehicles, to ride behind them.
You can even grapple to airships Wink

There are a few little things that annoy me - the chat is tiny and hard to see, you can't see deaths, and this is so graphically amazing that to get a good FPS, for me, I have to seriously lower settings.

Overall this seems great, although I will still be playing UT this is a fantastic alternative for me.
TRY THE DEMO!!! You may just love it Wink

maybe just my machine...
also i hope the layout will change.... cuz i don't like it a bit :p
the ingame movement: like buttons etc (in the menu) are very hard for me :p
took me 10mins to start a dm game. lol Rolling Eyes

anyway, I'm not taking any conclusions till the real game is out, when it's so far, i'll buy it and set an end to my UT99 mapping career Sad

cuz we have to move with our time.

the game brings also some new aspects, wich can be used for new BT obstacles and other shit Smile

Now I'm just hoping the editor is a bit ez to work with.

but for now overall rating: 7/10 not bad, but i'm missing the UT feeling ... graphics defenatly 10/10 gj epic.
