Glad you can mate
1. I think if you are boosting enemys, then it does last long enough. Yeah maybe one shot per boost relic hold will work, but only one shot. I still think it wont be as fun if it was there for 3 shots as current with Friendly boosting.
2. Granted, but so could an Aimbot Handy yes, but wether its overall helpful in the game and fun and relitivly a good idea overall is questionable.
3. Granted again, but the amount of times i've picked up that bastard relic as well as others and not noticed (Apart from the speed ofcorse) then its not really a fair thing to say.
Woot it would not be fun. Woot is not fun anyway, it's a complete DM map and its pathetic for all the pathetic lamers. But then everyone knows my feelings for Woot anyway.
As for Diamondsword I again don't like the idea on that map. I love DS its a great map, I think it will ruin it.
Its better to shoot the enemy, rather than boost.
Also, you will not get any points for boosting - It will say they killed themselves.

You can easily stop yourself flying that far though by holding back and moving to stop your team mate shooting yhou so easily.
Also thats classed as teamkilling as I know quite a few people to that purposly thinkings its funny, when it's not imo
I really do not think it will work at all, Dance.

Here's an idea.
The rule for posting in english... How about making an exception?
If people have a problem and need help and their english is not up to scratch, how about accept for them to post in their language.
Then, whoever is able to translate that, translates that for everyone else - whether or not they have helped that person in their reply as well.
This will stop some people who can't speak english feel discriminated and having their posts locked.
Yes, By all means everyone should try their best to post in english - But if they are stuggling and can understand better in their own language then that should be allowed without them feeling discriminated.
Hope that gets understood as a idea rather than a flame and taken serious rather than laughed at.

Why?.... people already do that... i don't have a problem with it if it's about a problem... it gets translated already if possible.
If we would make an exception you should state clearly that this is only when someone has a problem. Else we will get a forum filled with topics in: Dutch, German, Polish, Russian, Spannish and you name it

Its clearly in the forum rules that you should do your best to make posts ONLY in english.
Anyway, if I lock a topic for its language I always search with the nickname of the poster on the forum, if he posted before, and he speaks fine understandable english in other posts/topics, then I don't see the point.
It would be a mess if we had to translate everything around.

In this particular case i totally agree. The member typed almost flawless English in several posts and now all of a sudden has to be in German? Rules are English whenever possible and in his case it's very possible because he's proven before that he can speak and type English almost fluently. No need to stick to his native language imo. :s

Jen, Thats what I was saying.. it should clearly state only if you can not speak english or can not explain it in english.
THers been a few times when people who do struggle have been told to speak english - its just something I thought about on my pissed off moment.
I wasn't using Shad's action as a example at ALL, that just reminded me of it. I know that person has posted in english.
Sorry didnt mean to piss anyone off by posting this All of a sudden gone on the defensive there against me.. sorry

And now my reply is being ignored which is quite hillarious.
Dance: Thing is where as we can understand waht you say people will just take the piss out of you. Yeah ok you can make more of an effort and you can spell correctly (and to be honest, you should where possible on here due to it being multi language) but its not fair that people do that.
What you say is understandable - however the way you say things may not be interprited (spelling?) the way you mean it to be because of how you type.

I don't think calling them "pathetic losers" is right.
No trustee is a pathetic loser. (or admin).
My point, Dance, is that people who can only explain in their language and have tried english first should be let off not slapped.
this is a multi language community - English is the main language to use - as it is quite a dominating language in the real world too.
In your case, perhaps effort for you to type properly may be an idea, but people should stop taking the piss, As to be fair - Your typing isnt all that bad and understandable.
afterall ye u cn type lyk dis if u wnt, bt hu wil undrstnd it if they r nt english n dnt no the english "txt spk" as well.
