Would you help us to correct the rating of the BT maps?

Hi all,

This message is more for regulars BT players.
Some ratings are incorrect (mainly because the skill and the number of maps have so much increased).

Don't forget that our rating is composed by the difficulty and the length of a map, for an "average" player (if you are highly skilled try to think as a "noob" :p).

So if you are convinced about some incorrect ratings, don't hesitate to pm an active staff member (for instance me or P.E.R.N), we will be pleased to check that map.

By the way, please don't flood us, and don't be impatient (we have already some maps that we need to check).
At the end it's still the i4g staff who decide to correct the ratings or not.

i think Bfp-SE is overated as its an 8! and most maps are much harder than that one as there is only one hard bit on bfp which is the spiders and if you know how to do it its really easy so i'd rate it about 6 or 7

Let me think.. I'd say BT-Subway, perhaps a pretty unknown map, is more than a rating 7. It's a long map and the obstacles require some training, different obstacles imo. I'll have a look at some other maps Smile

Ehm Acme, maybe you can post a list of maps that need to be checked.

i remember playing (BJ)Yasmin (was a 2) n i was like holy shit!! now its ok with a 7 lol, ill try to help on this to, had some suggestion that i cant remember right now.

Ahwell, if we start posting here. Have a look at BT-(Ki)LouisDeFunes once you've got time. It is definitely more than a 6..

More a 7 or 8.

Some suggestions for ratings:

RideMagicDonkey is 3 and should be 6 or 7
Frozt - is 7 , should be 8
MonsterMadness - is 9 , should be 10!
LastHour - is 8 , should be 6 or 7
Belalou][ - is 6 now and should be 7 again
Belalou - is 9 and should be 10 again
Somber & Ae750 - short and skilled maps, could be 6 but no problem if they are unchanged
Bunny cula - is 9 and should be 7. It is easy

HDMI - r2 or r3.
HAUX - only hard part is beginning. Rest isnt that hard and in 2nd half of map you almost can't die if you are safe. Surprised I would give it 6 or 7 but I agree that many players hate NWBT and therefore rating could be around this ( but not 9 for sure ). But that's me, I like NWBT Rolling Eyes

Emma - is 9 and should be r8 or r7 And not so brutal in term of difficulty
Dejavu is 9 now, could be 8 ( my fav map tho and can cap it easily Cool

Haryu No should be 10 but 9 is suitable aswell
Phase 2 - I would give it 7.
Abomination is 8? Surprised

Should be 9 again imo
Eoty2015 - r8 or 9 ( rly hard to say, even after fixes ).

I agree with others r10s / r9s / r8s.

I could be interested to help. I haven't got all the level 1 capped down yet but then it have quite somewhat to do with pings sometimes on specific objective and other joining the server which prevent me from keep going on a R1 record. Razz

Mind telling me the proper moderation of bt map rating? I just would like the depth of details to maintain correctly rate a map.

I may have 500+ maps capped in my own bt.ini to share some idea.
