Not a bad map, quite fun in places but others are quite annoying. It seemed to me that the 3 shots in the early part have different timings on each side, red seemed much easier to do and as Raylen said, the ramp dodges are a bit buggy too. Wasn't a fan of the last room either, took a while to work out what to do, some triggers light when activated, others don't, so it wasn't obvious what to do. Perhaps you could of used some kind of 'furrykicker' instead of the weird ramp kicker. Also, this room often got cluttered with players which was a bit of a nuisance too.

Lighting is a bit colorful, seems like a gay parade Razz and ye, wtf is 'erchem'ed? Confused

Why didn't you call the map 'For Moli' as in the screenshot? Having a sub title is all well and good, but BT-1 seems to lack any thought.

Pretty good map, Pawel! Simple, but fun. To be honest, the lightning could be toned down a bit. I don't like to see all sorts of colors in a room, but that might be my problem too Wink

Raylen , the glitch you mention at the ramps is pretty much on any map that you dodge along the wall. Just keep a distance and u won't hit anything.

As for Pawel, nice map, quite rushable too, I don't mind the bouncer.

I enjoyed it. Was easy and rushable. I enjoyed the colours/lighting as i do with all of your maps.
but i agree with Raylen on the textures. Some parts just looked weird.
Especially the wooden beam movers coming out of the Angel looking tex.

But other than that it was good, i played offline for about 15 minutes didn't run into any problems. Smile

I liked it, but the room in the screenshot. There seemed to be a lot of different ways you can do that room, and it got to the point that I didn't really understand it to well at first. Apart from that, its quite nice.

Yeah, not too bad. Here's a few things, since you asked:

Overall, the map feels a little messy. This I think is due to not using textures and trims "properly" - for example, in the spawn room, you have wooden beams sticking out of the stone pillar texture, which just looks weird. The light textures look very 2d, just stuck onto the walls. Where you have the ceiling texture with beams, with the extra beams added, it looks good when you have lined up the beams - but you haven't always done this. You have made the pointy arch-doors between rooms, but you haven't used the pointy arch-door texture that comes with ShaneChurch, which just seems silly!

As for the gameplay, the two ramp-dodges in room 3 or so give me the same problem that I had at the start of Sunset - I glitch and hit my head quite often. It's then annoying to have to wait to dodge again. I don't know if intended but the 3 shots right at the start are different heights on left and right. And the room in the screenshot is an atrocity, and should be deleted. I don't mean to be overly harsh, but it just hasn't worked. As well as what you said, for people who have any lag / packet loss, it becomes really difficult with a high-velocity kicker. Plus the mover then kills you when it spins. You could do worse than simply removing the kicker and the final shot, and making the 3rd shot open the door.

And...using numbers in map names sucks, and should be avoided <3

This time I made little ShaneChurch-themed map to start making anything because since BT+Museum(ForStruppi)-v5 I didn't work in UED. :/ So I found a bit of wants for working and an inspiration from irridum77's map BT-Irritated-v2 and I've made 10 small rooms in one line like in irri's project. All I want from this map is a very delayed start of building first Pawel's map in current year. Also I made every obstacle works easily so it's another R1 to personal records's database for each player. :> I think that it's rushable but room on the screenshot doesn't work like it was designed to ( kicker doesn't boost the same every time :/ ), so sorry if you will scream about it. Eventually I want to admit - don't write comments such as " rushmapping " or " spend more time in your maps " because it doesn't take place in term of constructive critism really. Instead, give me some good clues or maybe tips which I can apply for my future projects. Take care and have fun with BT-1 !! Wink
