there is still some shortcuts in the "marketplace" room with the tents and kickers, but it is ok.
Originally I wanted people to be kicked from the first to the second then back to the third and finally to the fourth. But it was so hard to make it do this because you can hit the kickers at any angle. So if you can get kicked to the third from the second skipping the boxes then do it. Also there are shortcuts with dodge into the pipe right at the pillar jump over slime. You can skip the first three if you hit it right, that is ok too. |

| On blue (I believe) there's a book of the nali statue that can be used to boost yourself to the flags.
I haven't used it for the record but someone else might (saves like 30 seconds and if you get it earlier in the map like a minute) - ty Safester.
So.. that needs a fix IMO |

| I agree with {MHM}HellFire` - lift jumps are annoying, but manageable. And it really took me a while to find invisible path against the wall - I've spend some time at the rocks ;D After that figuring out that waving canvas are bouncers was quite easy Thanks for your Work !! |

| well I spent a lot of time with this map, I am glad it plays well (and rushes well too) and the textures and lighting are pretty amazing (for those who don't think so maybe you should play with dynamic lighting ON or lower the brightness) plus the ambient sounds work and flood the rooms nicely. I went buckwild with lighting, sounds, textures, architexture, originallity, some mysteries, concept, and theme.
btw the huge filesize is NOT textures it is the sound pack necronomicon.uax at 47 megs.
I put the texture packs in there too, not because I don't know how to export and import, but I used enough of the pack to include it all (and so people can use the whole pack for future projects). Although I can't figure out where I used a texture from fluid.utx and you can't export animated cause it crashes the editor.
I'm going to keep trying to get more rush style maps...no one likes maps like alien-compound or even postmodern (even though I like them a lot). |

| It's not to bad to rush, just the lift jumps are pretty annoying.
The invisible path against the wall was lame and impossible to find rly, Bon found it by accident.

| Yeah I agree with Dewsick, your previous ones are much better. The texturing is awful (especially the terrain) and so is the lighting. Flow is also a bit weak, some of the obstacles are good and original, but others are just boring and repetitive, also no one wants invisible buttons. The deco in some rooms was okay, but in others it was poor and felt cubey. Please take more time with making maps, I know you can create better maps. Rating 2.
Why is the map 98 mb? use only a few texture sets next time. |

Ozma no offence but the map is completely dull, boring, the textures are terrible (one with terrain is just horrid).
No flow to map, invisible buttons almost, looks bad, plays bad.
Obstacles are somewhat silly also, I mean, shooting a flame to get in the door? Questionable.
Don't release a map until you're satisfied with it, please don't release boring and dull maps. It's reasons like this I did quit BT and rushing. |

It's rather small
Anyway I admire this map. Gonna repeat myself; this project contains a lot of original ideas and nice stuff. Cool ambiance, map's atmoshpere and textures consists with themselves. Also I can't find a single lagzone ( especially at terrain section ), which is pretty amazing. I see Ozma's pottential now, he has released quite a few good maps which doesn't require any luck and they are pretty rushable. Now it isn't all about " oh, new ozma's map.... gonna be fun ". Personally when i see new Ozma's map, then I look forward to play it more than I used to. Keep mapping dude!
Oh and I suggest rating 2 btw |
