Thoroughly enjoyed this map. Complicated at first but really got into it. Excellent work.

The "elements" room was actually different pre release, when shooting an incorrect target you would take dmg from a skull hitting you, i removed that to fix multiple problems with movers going invis. Given how complicated the room was to build, i was getting tired of changes so i left it as " you figure it out "

Cutting out the slime part just before "elements" room was purely to fix some bsp issues and solve some game play problems i thought the sequence had. Considering i was on the node limit before the map was even finished, i had to make cuts to make fixes else where and save deco i had spent way too much time on (teleporter)

The sequel will be along some time soon, probably after summer.

If it werent for the help of the community I would still be stuck in the spawnroom. Who on earth thinks of presssing the same buttons twice? Razz
I feel kinda bummed you removed the slime area in the target sequence room. You could have created a ramp to prevent the button shortcut.
The slime corridor, which is the heart of the map, is timed to perfection and no room for slacking allowed. Even the follow-up part upstairs.
I applaud the fact you altered the circular jump movers, they are easier to deal with now.
This map is a b!tch to figure out but once you get the hang of it, it plays smooth.

Of course great design and some original obstacles / effects as we come to expect but what I liked most about this map is that it's quite forgiving and therefore achievable for someone of my ability, seems quite refreshing these days!

However, I really struggled in the 'elements' room, after the first shot I was able to shoot 2 targets (earth and fire). I think if only the intended one activated then I would have worked it out. Sometimes the floor glow activated twice as well, but only a few times. I thought I was progressing when this happened and spent ages trying to work out what to do next. In fact both of these situations really confused me and kinda stopped me in my tracks and in the end I had to ask for help. Also, 2 of the orbs are not colour coded to the targets which I also think would have helped me figure things out by myself.

Anyway, I look forward to capping this soon but after a close run I do feel 7 is a bit high, with it's forgiving nature it feels more like a 5/6.

To be honest this is one of my favorites, awesome map, skybox, godlike sequences, really looking forward for the next version. Figuring out the map is a real nightmare without sounds, thankfully i saw you trying the first half of the map haha.

I remember reading a comment in one of your maps, can't remember which one, saying that was your last map, we can realise of course that wasn't true and we are really glad, please keep it up.

EDIT* V3 is way easier than v2, and pretty different in the around jumps with lifts.

Too much about this map I love when running through it, I think the setting overall is real nice (wood, skybox and lightning). Some of my favorites are the transition with the cave, chasing the "ramptarget" and that insane teleporter at the end. But maybe the best thing of all is the "to be continued" texture at the end. Probably R8 when figuring out the map and R6 once you know it.

Very well executed map. Some obstacles took a while to figure out though, mainly due to the fact that some buttons were replaced by static brushes due to BSP problems (nothing much you can do about that though, playing with sound is hence advised).

Brushwork looks amazing, as we all are used to when playing a map of you. I really like how you incorporated the generators in the obstacles, really gives the map a unique feel. Teleporter is damn tasty too, only felt like that room could use a little more gameplay, but yeah the UED limits are not nice to you. Looking forward to the sequel.

Map is for sure one of the best you've release recently, great job! Thank you once again for your effort Sir NuLL!
