Fixed on behalf of Raylen:
- Spawn Room shortcut
- Bouncer Shortcut (you can no longer enter the church via the roof)
- Pupae will no long go on top of the mover

ownage map 9/10 awesome atmoshpere,this map is the much impressive nice looking map i ever played before.
idd some nice orginal obstacles but unbalanced difficulty!

First of all I have to say you did an outstanding job, Raylen. You've created an awesome landscape / atmosphere. You've really got eye for details. I love those small ruins / buildings (and that little church aswell). Also, I was very impressed to see me not having too many lags in such a map. There's a bit of unbalanced difficulty, comparing inside to outside, but I don't think that's a big deal. It IS hard sometimes to find out what to do, that's okay though, but don't make it too much of a "guessing-game". Another little problem is the pupae jumping on your lift, so you can't land on it. You can't control those creatures, so you have to make sure they can't jump on anything. And right now I see they've already been mentioned, ahwell, my bad, Raylen. Thumbs up!

I set the handler to maximum of 8 per fall (I think).

yeah the fall damage handler doesnt work, or the radius is too low, because i definitely lose health there, I also think you should really make the trigger times a bit longer, and the mover stay open times, its really tight, significantly harder than the rest of the map, players build up there as well which severely disrupts flow,

falldamagehandler? I usually just loose hp on that target sequence...(or is my aim so terribly bad that I manage to fall nex to it or something Sad )

Ok. I'm going to leave the bouncer sc there unless it really needs fixing. Also, I would have blocked the pupaes from getting on the mover but it never happened in testing, so I missed it. Making the dodge up a level on the temple, well I'm happy to leave that as a bonus sc too heh. As a side note, I remember thinking when I made the place "i wonder if bonket will be able to do this" - I can't even get close.

The sequence of 8 shots with possible fire at the end I actually really like - it just takes time to learn it. Originally I didn't even use a fall damage handler there too...

And one final mention of BSP holes. I pretty much spent a whole day moving small bits and rebuilding after I completed the map - something like 15-20 builds in one day, each one taking 13 minutes - just to remove BSP holes. I do think though that using a subtractive brush is the "strongest" way to do it, after some experimentation. Thanks for comments, glad it's generally liked Smile

Mentioned to him the pupae's Surprised. Well, nice map .I kinda dislike the little lag at the pupaes obstacle and the fact I sometimes make a high dodge on that ramp and make it to the next level(just after pupaes part).

Think you have blocked that sc but I'm going to check it few times.

EDIT: Still possible lol. More tricky this time , but possible .

Interesting map. Some nice obstacles in there. Though I think the inside obstacles are too hard compared to the rest, bus since you can hardly die, it is ok. I disliked the long target sequene, though, took me 30 min to make it just once. And I kind of dislike the fact that the pupae ouside can get on the mover that comes up, so I have to distract them somehow...The targets outside with the platfoms that com out of the roof seemed a little narrow to me, too. But overall a very nice map, so good job!

hey, i really like the style youve gone with here, nobodys really tried to do a map like this before, sculpting BT into a predominantly terrain based map, I thnk its worked really well, i certainly enjoyed playing through it, I do think the inside is a bit too difficult in comparison to the rest of the map, the obstacles arent punishing but they can literally take forever, and sometimes they are also a bit unclear as to what to do, the fps isnt a big deal, it shouldnt hold you back, but i dont think it does so thats all good, the obstacle where you can get burned with fire is a bit temperamental, but thats not a big deal, anyway flow is really good, its fun to play, atmosphere is decent, overall a really nice piece of work, and well done for somehow avoiding bsp holes

Hi, hope you all like this. I tried to do something a bit different with the first section; I think it worked OK. The underground section will take a little while to learn, but is fine once you know it. Overall I don't think it's my best map, although I quite like my little church! Oh and I think if you fly up to the "roof" of the map, you can achieve 2 FPS - it was quite hard to avoid having too much lag in such a big terrain Smile
