| | i have to agree with NuLL he aint trying to out do anyone with our maps we just try to make maps that people enjoy and i have reitterate this to scorp your comments about other peoples work on maps are harsh and not welcome. I have learnt alot of NuLL in the past and it takes a big man to ask for help and i did hense i came up with "Forgotton" NuLL is proberly the best mapper for UT99 atm next to Krool and Blitx. remember just because u dont like something doesnt mean u have to destory there work with comments that discourage the mapper contuiing to make maps. |

| If I was rating out of 20, this would be 19. It's a great map, just not your best yet imo and therefore it isn't a 10, IN MY OPINION.
Don't take it the wrong way, it's not like I get paid for rating maps or anything  It's just something I do to try and help people out. |

| Well imo BT-(Kraken)Forgotten is a 5+/10 just bcz rly enjoyed the gameplay...
And this NuLL.... Pft seriously its ur best work. I didnt like the hard dodges around the corner and stuff but the rest of the map is realy good.. A 10+ |

| | well its his opinion to be honest, at the end of the day hes jus rating based on how much he enjoyed the map, personally i enjoyed the map alot, and so did scorpio, but hes jus trying to look at what he disliked to help you improve. Its hard to rate maps, especially on a /10 system, you could put the smallest amount of work in a map and people enjoy it, or the largest, for me the funside of each map is more fun, although this map is beautiful i enjoy it mainly for its flow and general atmosphere it has, which 90% of other maps dont have. |

| I Agree with null, how can BT-(Kraken)Forgotton-v2 receive a 8/10 one point lower then this map? I'm not putting the map down but there is no way in hell it's that good comparing it to the 9 on this map. The only way it's going to be an 8 is if it's 8/20. Also, the "downsides" to the map you suggested aren't true. You're not doing them right.
Also, if it's true you vote on how a map looks and plays how in the world did BT-(NB)LTTT receive a 7/10? lol. Consistant lift jumping through a whole map isn't much of obsticles. Not dissing the map though, i found it quite fun going for recs. |

| | Thats never going to help any one imo making some one out to be a better mapper makes it alot hard to progress. i think maybe leaveing out /10 marks and maybe giving a more critical view will be more productive. be sides Marking a whole map on one ranking score. A 10 secton map review would be more accurate productive and helpful with a basis more than just playing a map would also help. Alot of the maps you've marked way up at 6-7 when the real conclusion would be closer to 2-3. if you can make a sqaure room with some blocks and shit fine its not a 6-7 ffs. Building a world is a little different to a few square boxes. | Just because this may look better than them, doesn't mean it is a better map. I know that you are talented at making maps look amazing, so I won't take that into account so much when I rate it.
Plus, if a fairly inexperienced mapmaker makes a really decent map, I may give them a bit more leeway on the rating, to help encourage them and show that they can improve. |
