Just for the record the NWBT/BTME mod has undergone a LOT of testing, even online, you don't even know. Pretty every server has different settings and mods, and the NWBT mod has to work around all of them to make them work. Also, when other mods are updated, or new mods are made, they can break with NWBT again. All the fixes of the map were mainly related to compatibility updates of NWBT/BTME mod, so that the map actually remains working. You should thank Bloeb for actually investing a lot of time in this, otherwise we would not have any NWBT at all on normal BT servers.

You should seriously think longer before posting harsh comments when you are upset.
If you have such comments to do, pm directly the mapper.
I4g message in box or Private mail is the way, and even with those tool you shouldnt insult anyone.
Bloeb has proved in the past that he can map, beeing innovative, focus on some map stuff and help others mappers when they ask questions.
Saying he should learn to map is harsh and unfair, Saying you are more than happy he quitted mapping show that you you are an ******.
It isnt the first time you prove you have temper issue, so think twice before acting.
Just think about some bad comments you had on ure own maps and you will realize how Bloeb could feel insulted.

Riddiculous how this map turned to have 5 fixes and still bugs everywhere. Very poorly tested rooms make it barely playable and almost impossible to rush. Targets at fall doesnt work as intended every time and kill most of decent runs. Also rooms feels a bit empty but some useless decoration exists here and there for no reason ( especially trims and damn rail in biorifle part ).
Not to mention there is lame 5-sec sc but pity it works like 1/100. -.-
Looks like all those fixes from past wasnt necessary at all but still some players had to recap it coz times weren't transfered afaik.
If you test this thoroughly and ONLINE or at least let someone with better BT knowledge than you, you would notice all those bugs.
I could say srsly Bloeb, learn to map but it's kinda too late and thanks god u quit mapping.
Last but not least, I used to love NWBT maps, but after realising how bad this " project " is I changed my mind and won't enjoy NWBT anymore.

There're 2 methods to do the shockcombo-part:
1. Shoot off a ShockProjectile. Run forward and jump on the ShockProjectile. Shoot the ShockProjectile while in the air.
2. Shoot off a ShockProjectile. Run past the Shockprojectile. Rotate, jump up and shoot the ShockProjectile while in the air.

Both methods should give you enough boost. You can even get up on the high-platform from the ground. Furthermore, as X_West mentions, the ShockRifle-part is very difficult with a high ping. I tip my hat to high-pingers who have capped this map.

This version is long overdue. I've replaced BTME_v3 with BTME_v4. This fixes some issues. Unfortunately I see one compatibility-issue with the checkpoint-mod still remains. I still have to test this more and hopefully this doesn't affect the people who do a normal run. If it does or if you find any other serious issues please let me know.

edit:

I've figured out one of the compatibility-issues, it's a pretty silly code-mistake on my part. After some more testing I will make a v6.

That's not very likely. It's just a simple trigger, but it's never triggered throughout the entire map. The previous version had the dependency as well, but worked fine on this server.

I tested the map with cruncher yesterday. At first everything seemed to work as it should, untill Wandu joined the server and used a checkpoint somewhere. Suddenly everything was mixed up. So I'm assuming it has something to do with the i4g-checkpoint-mod.

Pff, I'm very dissapointed. I've worked very hard on the new BTME-mod and I tested it thoroughly on a dedicated server with many mods. I wasn't expecting any problems on the i4games-server. I'll see what I can do to fix this.

Zones don't seem to remove your weapons, so you keep all the previous weapons (like the impact hammer). Map left on BT2, waiting for a fix

Indeed, nothing significant has changed to the gameplay in the map. So the records could be transfered

I feel a bit embarrassed btw, I forgot to remove a dependency on the NWBT_v4-mod. It doesn't cause any damage to the map, but it's a silly mistake.

Some compatibility issues with other mods (i.e. i4Games BunnyTrack 0a Beta-mod and BTCheckPoint-mod) and some Scriptwarnings should be fixed in v4.

Klepto pointed out that this map doesn't work with some mods:
- i4Games BunnyTrack 0a Beta-Mod (timer doesn't reset when a player dies/suicides).
- BTCheckPoints by Spongebob (The player doesn't spawn at the checkpoints).

This is caused by a silly bug in NWBT_v5. During the development I accidently removed a line of code. I can even remember removing that line, thinking it was unnecessary :s . I've released NWBT_v6 and a fix for NWBT_v5. I will fix the map later.

Niseimono, stay tuned, I'm working on a map using only the InstaRifle and the ImpactHammer. I'm sure you'll like it Wink

Well, I like NWBT maps with NW tricks, but I personally think that rocket shooting pulse gun, slow shock balls and grappling hook are way too much overboard for my liking.

Changes in v3:
* NWBT_v4 was replaced with NWBT_v5, this fixes several compatibility-issues with some mods.
* Realigned some textures.
* Changed the height of some shoottriggers from 40 to 60.
