its all right for 5mins,then it starts to get silly and boring

ut is not a flying game,they did it in the latest ut3 and that was shit....i vote no,look at the sniper every one wanted that,do they use it,do they Fu-k

funny... if I remember correctly you were all gun-ho for the sniper server but in the past 4 months when I went on there I would be alone for over an hour before I would finally give up and go elsewhere. Besides that, it really doenst matter if Medic puts the Strangelove on or not... 4 of our servers get less than 3 players a week on them anyways.

it would be better on the big rooms if u could run and hide
but alas this is not the case
plus once some one gets to the highest point they just sit there picking people off,I wont mention no names,that is a let down
I thought it was going to be ctf sniper not those huge maps were you have to keep stopping cause of health going down so fast
I find them boring

I enjoyed sniper, but there never were many people in it.
Best game I had here on i4g was once with 8 people or so, other times were just Z-rox owning the hell out of me because i'm so noobish.

This slv thing sounds nice, once played it a long way back and was pretty fun. As UT seems to be dieing slowly it might not be such a bad idea to try and bring all the remaining communities together.

SLV rules! I normally go to MPUK servers for that, and I know a few ppl here who play there, only coz they didnt alt-nick Surprised

. Imo it spices up the regular CTF gameplay and is good fun Very Happy

Doubt it'll work @ i4games tho.

I would like to share some information for the regular posters on this forum that know little about UrS.

A handful of the members of this clan are very young and have a history of extreme immaturity and obnoxiousness. They also cater their servers to the lowest skill level. For a mod that lets you fly, they set their servers at around 150% game speed. Seems ridiculous, right? So why would they do that? Because it makes it harder for people to fly and easier to "spam" rockets. Spam means instead of aiming/flying, you can just shoot never ending rockets that cause huge destructive explosions and make the game effortless and ruin it for anyone who's honed their skill. They also are new members of an old, historic slv clan that has a long reputation that they refuse to let rest in peace. Almost all of the old players of this clan walked away and left because of the behavior of the current memberss. People at ut-slv considered it disrepectful for them to taint the reputation of an old clan by dumbing down the mod.

These are the reasons they left UT-Slv, not because of "immature players". You really can't take that seriously when it comes from a 13 year old, or someone like Headshot who teaches noobs to spam and believe that he's the "best" at slv. They are also undermining the community by trying to get other clans to go with them, to take clans away from UT-SLV, the community that gave them a place to post in the first place is a slap in the face.

So, just letting you guys know, you're getting the "worst" of what the SLV community has to offer.
