BT is way too frustrating for you? Not anymore.
Thanks to the checkpoints, you can now define where you want to respawn - at any place in the map (BT1 only). You can do that by typing "mutate checkpoint" in your console. You can also say "!checkpoint" in the chat. (To remove your checkpoint, just type "mutate nocheckpoint" or say "!nocheckpoint".)
The only conditions to set a checkpoint is to be standing still, not on a mover... and alive.
This will greatly help you to explore any map, whatever its difficulty rating is!
When you capture a map thanks to a checkpoint, the checkpoint will be deleted and your time will not be taken into account.
Please be careful to still respect other players' turn right after you've respawned at your checkpoint!

Presuming this is just on BT1? Perhaps BT2 too though?
Very verryyy nice addition though there Yan! May get me practising more BT on i4games

nice , This will help me get rid of my frustration. Always dieing halfway the map, meaning you have to do the first part over and over.
Mostly i give up after a couple of runs.
Hope it's really on BT1 tho, cos BT2 server is empty most times

Thought i'd add on to why I say BT2 as well..
Because I think people in BT1 will set a checkpoint to cap and cap and cap... Where as because BT2 isnt that full then you can go on there to get away from that and still train.. on the Training server
I'll shush now... Got more code to do

Awesome addition! This'll greatly improve gameplay, especially on those hard, long, tiring maps. :p

This is a great mod, especially for BT2. Unfortunately it's just very annoying on BT1. Players keep popping up infront of you. Also, if you're unlucky they steal the mover you where about to take.

i must agree there bloeb, but i take no credit away from the mod, it is good on bt2 but on bt1 they can steel your movers

Allready noticed that people are using it after every ramp then passed. (and the "say !checkpoint" is annoying)
They will get quick through the map and keeps you off to get an time when it gets overtime.
Like on BT-Slaughter; Great map and fun to play even when overtime.
but when the time ends there is always a cap.
Isn't this mod getting you on BT3? because you capped the map but you have to cap it with time?
Or is it that nothing will be saved if you cap it with checkpoint so it keeps you off BT3?
I'd like to see that you can't can get a flag with checkpoint!
It's used to explore? right?
Or to cap???
