Hmm..
It doesn't sound half bad imo. The buildup is to slow though, which makes the little chord progression sound even less interesting than it is. The notes are to short around 0:35, extend them or add some more. What you could do is make the main instrument pattern more than just repeating itself every 4 secs. Make it into an 8 second pattern and shift either the all the low notes the last 4 seconds up or down a few notes, or just up the last 2 second high notes a few notes. Or make it into a 16 second pattern and use both. As it's synthesized sounds, they're to 'perfect'. Synthesized sounds are ALWAYS the same. The human ear blanks repetitive elements in music out after a while, thus making it boring. With acoustic sounds such as live played guitar this isn't the case, as no matter how you try the soundwave from hitting the same note twice will never be the same. You can still liven up synthesized sounds by adding effects to them and changing the paramaters as the song goes on. Do you know how automation works? If you don't, I'll happily explain it to you. What program did you use to create that song?
Of course some vocal elements would suit this piece very well, seeing as it's rnb. If you have no recording equipment however, it's fine. It would be an added plus though.
Overall it was ok. Very lounge-esque. 6/10
Hope I helped. Feel free to ask me any questions you might still have.

sounds good brad, like central code but i agree the notes are a little short, maybe use some reverb aswell to emphasise the keyboard.

i've taken in what you have both said, and after listening I think I will try and break up the piano/keboard a little more in each song. it does start to sound a little to repetative. I want brus to be a very loungesque sort of music.. something you listen to if you are just chilling with mates and a few beers or kicking back with that special someone..

Sounds a bit like Daft Punk would have before 'Homework'... keep it up, keep improving, you could be the next big thing

Its quite interesting stuff you've got there.
There are rooms for massive improvements, I won't lie. But at the same time you are massivly on the right track and it is a really nice sound you have there.
Agree with the repetative thing though.
Its hard in slower electronic music to keep it very intersting and less repetative because you havnt got the room to do short little changes as you do in faster music.
However, there is room for you to change a few notes in places or the way the notes are played as well as the beat change a bit too.
Overall sounding good though I like Nice and chilling!
keep us updated on more

That's where you're wrong Dano. :p
It's quite similar to using effects in faster paced electronic music. Listen to this: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/213911
^ Uses some vocal effects, and loads of effects. Just some vocal effects can really give a track the boost it needs. It's best to record your own, if you're having trouble finding what you need on the web.
It's classified as DnB on there, but it's not, really. Only about 115 bpm. Then there's of course the much more slower 1-step, at 69bpm, which can use effects just as easily.
It's really about how you use them.

What I meant was my sorta music
Because even though notes are exact, there are many ways you can change that by adding slight effects or portamento or cutoff rises... and some people do.
Not alot, but some lol.
