hmmm i have plyd u alot on the i4games server for the last years anthologie and imo never seen u doing especially lame. Ofcourse we all have our lame moments but i still consider u as a nice player

i tell to admin to see demo when someone say "lame"...
Why to say the name of ppl? if there are more than one.
You can' t see each ppl before a map but on demo you'll see all.
Now, i would say "lame" and not name of ppl and after admin look at the demo or not...
If really lame , advertise with a ban for 1 day and if the same lame again...be responsable.

AnAthoRn, saying "that's lame", then "just watch the demo" when something goes wrong is not the solution. A demo of a game appears 10 minutes after the end of the match. Then the admin will have to watch the demo for at least 10 minutes again to find who was laming.
Then what? The player(s) will be warned or kicked half an hour after they acted badly? Chances that they're gone already.

So when you see someone who is not respecting the rules, simply report him/her to an admin. I was there on the greek thorns game and I couldn't see who you were talking about (I don't have eyes everywhere). So it's a shame that an edmin was present and couldn't react towards the players that were annoying you.

You've got the right to complain, but at least do it properly. Wink

If "yes" he's so stupid or not afraid or ?...
So look a demo is better than look on spec...and some name is difficult to retain(<== new world in my book ^^).
Today again i say to some ppl to stop camp , but no the response of their share.
It's afflicting.

As I said, looking for a demo is not practical at all.

Just say the name. If he/she stops laming, then it's fine. If not then we take action. You don't have to spell them exactly. Wink

Check the username as it cannot contain special chars, only alphanumerical characters - it's not that hard.

I always just warn the player and use thier nick so everyone who is in the match can keep an eye on them... if that dosn`t work then I usually leave the match and get an Admin or Trustee in irc (#i4games.admin). That sometimes sucks, coz then I loose my place in the game but its worth the trouble if someone is (a) extreemly lame (b) spamming or c) being disrespectful to other players.

I wish that this thread wasn`t needed but I started it just to get people thinking about what is lame and how to play properly. Everyone lames now and then (at least I know that I do, even if its unintentional and then stop as soon as I realize my mistake)... thats just not the problem. The problem is when players lame, map after map, and pay no attention to the rules and/or show no respect for other players, who just want to have fun there.

i think it's a good idea to start this thread Z-ROX...maybe in my english nobody understand me... but because some ppl have good eff you don't kick them? because he's your friend? don't what again...
But some ones say "i'm def" ok but def it's not camp....stop hide to kill the efc...you play attak and if your score is low , you stay on def just for got points...stupid.(yes it's right)
If no complain ...then get out the rules and play unfair all.
