High ping kick mod

i was just wondering why there is no high ping kick mod on i4g servers ? i have played on a server with this mod installed and players with a ping of over 170 will get kicked from the server making a better game for all to play instead of players with high ping lag killing (which suxs big time)

aah man cmon if you do that most ppl cant play any more cos only they have a bad ping not even a bad when i only can not play 1 day i will be already boring just play and have fun

She is right a little bit. Not only lag killing but also lag caping sucks. Ok, most people with high ping don't do this things, but there are sometimes ppl who do and thats very bad... Maybe not directly a kick, but there must be something to prevent this. Btw i cant hit anything when i m having high ping, so i leave the game coz its boring for me. But some ppl don't. Thats fact.

lol yesterday the player [xXx]MingTheMerciles ask me if i know how help him... he has the same problen than you missy... meybe it's some mutator of the server, but i always play with 120 of ping our sometimes more and i never was kicked Very Happy

i have never been kicked from the server for a high ping my ping is normally 50-60 sometimes lower what i am saying i think personaly that they should have a high ping kick mod which kicks you off the server if your ping goes over 170 as Tgz://Barbera says " just play and have fun " there is no fun if players keeps lagg killing/capping because their high ping it is stopping them getting killed or you got to shoot them a few times to kill them therefore it is not fun anymore it's just annoying . if i have a high ping on servers i don`t bother playing on them because i know this would not be fair to other players

Yes ok high pings then it is hard for you to play, But some people cant help it and sometimes it has no effect, most people moan that they can't shoot them when they have a high ping because they just cant shoot anyway.

Stupid idea for a mod, sometimes my ping decideds to jump from the 50's to over 5000 and i cant do shite about it it isn't nothing to do with me and no way i can fix it. It was only for about 10 - 60 secs and i got so much shite off people it was unbeliveable.. And i was standing still o_O

Stupid thing in my oppinion

many servers in other kind of games are using this mod already,and frankly,i don't see the big issue about having or using this mod. If you allow one person with a very high ping,the fun is most of the time ruined for the rest. Then again,people can't help how high or low their ping is,but i wouldnt be playin in i4Games in the first place if i had a bad ping on its servers.If i was the one with ping over 170 i would be looking elsewhere to play.Simple. But i do see what you all mean,but thinking with your heart is not always the best thing,and you can't always side with every one out there,sometimes you have to make a decision.Though i haven't come across anyone yet that is so very hard to kill due to their lag/ping.

i think people with a higher ping have the same right to be on the i4g servers as you. you only want to kick their asses because they have a slow internet connection, wich they most of the time cant do any thing about. only when they are lag capping and lag killing, they should get banned. if you hate it that their are players here with a higher ping then yours, go to a server where the high ping mod is installed. most of the time, yes they ruin the game for everyone, i agree with that. but most good, fair players don't even go to a server where they have a high ping, just like flamingo said. if you are just fair you don't want to ruin the game for everyone else. but in my oppinion that isnt enough reason for them to get banned. this is just my oppinion, not that i hate you or something Razz

hold on a minute i never said anything about banning them and yes i do go to play on a diffrent server with a high ping mod.I haven`t said there should be one i was wondering why there wasn`t one .as most players know that with a ping over 170 most players with low pings shot straight through them clearly an advantage of having a high ping . (think i`ll plug my 56k modem back in) i don't go and play on servers where my ping is say over 170 i play on servers where i got a low ping or average 50-60 so i can enjoy the game

Erm you asked why there isn't one, i gave my views on if we did have one then a reason for why there isnt one, in my views.

I have played on a server with this kinda mod and it stinks and lost players very quickly.

Try reading and seeing where i am comin from before you start pissing about saying i'm doing stuff wrong Evil or Very Mad

You never know what the future might bring, alot of peoples ping may improve while your own gets sucky... then it will be you that gets kicked. My standard ping runs somewhere around 90 to 120, but if some of you had played online 5 years ago, then I doubt that you would of even botherd about making this thread. Hardly anyone uses a modem nowdays (this being the day and age of DSL/IDSN), and those that do, play with a ping half as high as once upon a time. I always watch what my ping is doing coz a high ping makes it unplayable for me, so I just Spec tell my ping gets better.
