I don't visit here often but when I do I think its for a valid post.
I remember when this community started way back on the Demon servers, yes thats right Demon servers all those years ago when the players hung out and fragged each other without the need to resort to abuse. Theres not many of the members here that were born then let alone playing UT99 and having FUN....Yes the aim of this community was always having fun and making friends.
Clans come and go {DC} {TB} BC Friends don't
Lets drop the abuse and go back to the old values.

I meant that the Demon servers were prior to 3d win even you played on the Demon servers CN
Demon servers were probably a forerunner to 3d win, anyway that just demonstrates how long some of us have been playing this game. the point of this was to highlight moaning whining and abusing of members by some.

ive started on a server called Serverns Instagib 5 years ago or something with my p2 450 Mhz, some crap videocard and 56k modem. Like u said nem it was all about fun and friends. I remember Friendly Fire was 100% on that server. But we still laughed our asses of if there was some prick who was teamkilling only. Or we just chased him down with our whole team 
Met many nice people that time, unfortunately maybe 5% of those players are still active in UT

hehe i remember also Severns server and his biggest teamkiller: Dummy... a belgian ... hum

Hmm. Before 3d.win, I was a Quaker full time and I began UT on 3d.win with the demo so how can these servers be prior ?
Anyway, that's the least of my concerns

I used to play all of those servers.. but the one I really loved was MINX.. great community.. really great people.. A shitload of fun..
Anyway.. I somehow agree with you bro.. fun times seem to be over sometimes.. people seem to be less friendly nowadays..
I guess the world is truly changing..

But not all people. There are a lot of people on the server that don't act like that. So there will be nice games to play also.

There is alot of friendship the the old regs that have been here for over a year/2.
And me being a reg imo i have noticed taht the friendship levels in playing has gone down and it really sux...
But why is this?

i used to play back on 3d.win.be but i always used to love playin on crovax but it didnt last very long (mainly cuz the guy didnt have much money and he got a huge bill for his bandwidth... i used to frag with 2 old skool players on there named R|sc and SeiMoR (we used random names tho) then we all slowly stopped playin ut... i still remember my first time on 3d.win.be on the itdm server and i hit like 7 in 20 mins from that i was determined to play play and play...
