It's quite annoying alot tbh... there you are, have a damn good game, couple of good sprees, with one or two caps and assists... then someone joins the match and starts to camp/lame/ass, so you stop to spec him/her, and then after warning them (sometimes several times, and eventually kick/ban), you just cant get back into your playing style because you kinda lost the rythym om the gameplay.

i think if this game was really become hasbeen, it would be not that much peoples here.
As Medic said it still a good game with a nice gameplay and more of that you don't need a computer of the last generation to play like for new games.

I'm still flabbergasted by the kind words of our friend Z-rox.. 
I only just read this thread..
But.. I just wanted to say.. I try to be there as much as my private-life admits me to and if it's not enough to be a worthy trustee to count on all of the time I'll simply respect Medic's and Couille's choice to 'retire' me and make place for others. I never got a kick out of my privileges.. I just tried to do my small part in keeping these wonderfull servers and this great community a fair and fun place for all the regulars and the occasional visitors.
In doing this, my policy is built around a broad sense of humour and relativating capabilities..
If someone is angry.. I first try to calm them down by trying to show them how relative everthing in life is..
Just crack a couple of funny remarks.. it usually lightens them up quite quickly..
If this doesn't work.. ok.. I have to admit.. the old 'tank-commander' in me wakes up and the game is over.. it's either my way.. or the highway..
(And with MY way.. ofcourse I mean the 'i4g-way'..  )
But that's usually the last resort... as painfull as it may be for the particulair player involved.
Anyway.. I'm not here all the time.. but I still love to be here as often as I possibly can.. I do hope that Medic meant when he said that all of his old trustees would always be welcome here, cuz I would really mis you guys a lot after a little while..
Have fun and keep it fair..

angryness makes me only play better lol. If someone is playing lame im only more concentrated to kill him or put all my energie in bringing that flag home.
About the admin issue, i understand missy's point of view. A lot of admins arent as active as in the past so for an outstander it seems the admins don't take care anymore of the things happening in the server.
But still in my eyes they doing and done alot of good work to keep the server clean from the lamers. And if there aint an admin available there s still IRC and the forum to contact them privately. Idd privately, no reason to accuse players in public

but the laming has got worse since the new scoring .. i used to play here every day now i only play play here when i can be asked . yes i got respect for all on here but when a trustee who havent played here for weeks decides to give warnings out (tries to show whos boss on the server) yes undy i`m on about you . you play a few games on i4g.players haven`t seen you for weeks may be months and then you dish out a ban / warn me and you was also laming on a few maps yourself or is that allowed for trustees . i think not .. since the new scoring most players now lame here more often. even i say i do it more . but @ the end of the day it`s only game

Well this has got me thinking.. Why not give people trials for trustee places.. Only the people you trust becasue There are many campers Out there In CTF and idlers in BT and Ammo Stealers In MH and Kickers in the War Server.

So you are saying that a trustee who hasnt played for a few weeks orso, doesn't know what the rules are anymore, and that he has to play again a few weeks before he can warn people who lame all the time?? In my eyes, that makes no sence

i have to agree with Sartrix..its weeks since i last played,but i spec now and again,and that doesnt mean i suddenly forget nor understand whats lame or "forbidden" behaviour. I think it sounds more to me that you find this warning unfair,tho i have no idea what this is about since i wasnt there,but trust me,if someone warns someone, or bans,we don't do it just to flash our power for others to see. It's just silly thinking that we do this only to get a kick out of it. And,for the 10 000 time,if u disagree with a warning/kick/ban,bring it up in the admins channel on irc.
I too am so fed up with the whining and moaning all the time,but you know what? Those i see do it,are no noobs,they are all regulars. It is really easy to pick out the newbies,because they don't flame and behave ill all the time.
Enjoy life instead,why waste your energy moaning about a game?
