Yes I forgot to tell that: I didn't agree with Z-ROX so I complaint to him, asking: 'but Z-ROX what did I do wrong.
He awnsered: Z-ROX: Stop whining!

Well then even I don't know what to do anymore..........Except the feeling of shouting is *ss full of nasty words.
But like I said, that's not nice either.

sorry buh, but you got it all wrong.
Probably you have had a confrontation with Z-Rox, but I remember playing against you several times, and I must say:
whether you like it or not, do it on purpose or not, but you have a very lame playing style.

I'm trying to say it to you with respect, but if I keep playing against you in the way I did last times, I will lose my patience. But I think I already gave you some remarks in the past on the server, where you kept asking what I was meaning ...

Just change yer playing style dude. And if you don't know what you are doing wrong ... try to figure it out by speccing some good players like Period, Master, Sinister, volley, skudie, anthologie, vainkey, wierzbo, summie, lunz, ...
In my eyes they have the right attitude for a ctf player.

Just don't get angry now immediately at the point you read this.
Try to give it some time and think it over ... might help you. I'm playing UT99 for 6-7 years now, so I think I know what I'm talking about.

I'm sorry to say this Buh, but i totally agree with mentor. Your playing style irritates me too and about that flag laming Z-rox mentioned i totally agree i caught u many times (eternal caves red for example) u were behind the flag and waiting to kill the guys who play ctf and do want to get the flag so they can cap (that's what has to be done at a ctf server).

So maybe you should spec some good player or just look at the demo's of games u played and maybe u can find out what u did wrong.

ehm im not sure whats wrong with buh's playing style,
i've played many matches (on i4G but also on other servers) with him and i don't think anything is wrong with his playing style...
maybe because he is my brother i don't know...

ehm mentor,rich-art and z-rox do i have the same style as buh???
(i hope not and if i do, well i will try to improve it, but just tell me if my gamestyle is bad...)

Watched you play since some time wouterk.
Your playing style doesn't suck.
You see that you miss some experience, but I see you improve every day. Your aim is getting a lot better day by day.
Practice some more on your moves and you'll do ok.

at the start you really sucked Smile

But everyone does in the beginning Wink

I was lucky...when I started there were no great players or experienced ones.
Everybody sucked.

Once you learn how dodge bullets you'll have more time to aim.

I am very sad that you all wright about me like that. Really I do NOT camp. I always attack, this means try to capture the enemies flag. If I get shot, and respawnd at the home base and if there are some enemies I try to shoot them, but if I mis or something I keep running towards the enemy base. Not laming or assing or above all CAMPING. You are also saying that I have a very lame gamestyle, but I see really no point in attacking all the time. If I do something wrong then you don't have to say that I do that the whole time wrong, because I believe you guys do. I am very sad that you all think my gamestyle is lame, because I practise alot. I always try to play what is best for the team. I am not a selfish guy who camps at the home base to kill there some defenceless enemies. That's not fair and i DO understand that. So maybe you guys have to considder thinking in another way about me.......and if you guys still do think about me in that way, maybe you all should spectate me more.

Hey Jacob, don’t take this too personal. It’s just my opinion against yours. Do with it what you want. I’m not saying that you play lame all the time. Also didn’t say you camp, but about the assrunning … you have a tendency to do so …
Your style is not VERY lame, I’ll have to correct myself, it’s RATHER lame 
Has nothing to do with respawning or stuff, and sorry if you don’t like what you hear.
Normally I’m not the man to judge other players, but since you took up the discussion to judge things, be prepared to get some critics too (as I am at the moment).
You will probably have good moments in your play too, but people easier see the things that irritate them.
The fact that you practice a lot is good, now try to practice in another way …
Force yourself some time not to do a single assrun, not to wait a single second in your own base unless the flag has been already taken. At the beginning it won’t benefit your team, but it will surely benefit you in time, and you will learn in the future to make the right decision of when to stay and when to leave the base.
Some maps have so many respawners in the base, that there arent’t any defenders needed (face, woot, niven, paradise (this is the one where you mostly irritated me in the past), Gauntlet, …)
I don’t want to attack you, just want to help you. If you change your playing style and try to find out using different styles … the one where you get less comment is the best 
And maybe I should take more time to spec you, but that’s what admins and trustees are for. I’m just trying to help them a little and improve the i4g community by trying to create maximum output of fun for everyone.
Just try to figure it out yourself.
And when you’re on server and someone says something. Don’t start discussing on the server. Let it be, and talk to him afterwards on irc.
Hope this explains a little bit better how I think.

The fact that you react like this means you care. And that’s very positive. Some ppl don’t even care if their playing style is considered lame. They just keep going on. With you I sense the possibility of improvement. I wouldn’t spend my time replying you if I didn’t think it could make a difference.

Thanks Mentor,

Now I know that I shouldn't take all those insults too serious.

And about my gamestyle: When I think of the games I've played, I really have no clue what I can change about it. As far as I know I never assrunned somebody with purpose.

What I'm going to do now is just keep playing CTF as I did before. Practice a lot and keep strict to the rules. And if somebody says something about my gamestyle I think I'm just going to ignore it.

you should take it serious, but not personal.
If I see you again I will download the demo and show you where imo you're not playing by the rules.

Ignoring negative comment is NOT the right way
NOT changing your playing style also.

And if I might say... we're not trying to "insult" you, as you put it. The Trustee's try to give constructive warnings... meaning that they warn to make a person think about what they are doing... I don't like having to quit my games to spec players that are not playing by the i4g rules. I don't like having to warn players about thier playing style, sometimes several times in one match. I don't like having to kick or ban players for not applying to the rules we have here. But if all else fails... thats what I have to do.
And to arguee with a Trustee, just makes them short tempered, and a kick follows more quickly then.

I give out alot of warnings... and it's not because I don't like you/someone, or that I'm out to get you/them. I will warn a buddy a quickly as I will warn a newbie. (as many of my buddies can testefy to Wink

)

I have very much more to agrue but not at this moment. I am getting very, very tired of all this. You guys think that I need to change my gamestyle but I don't, because I think I already have a correct gamestyle. And if you don't exactly tell me what I should change then how am I suppose to change it?
