mouse sens is also depending on the speed of yer pc i noticed.
On my old athlon 750 I played with 1.75.
Now on my p2.4 i play with 2.4, but I played with 3 a long time.

In UT2004 for example, I play with 5.5

framerate is always 75 (vsync?)

I made a case study once.

I found out that defenders mostly have lower mouse sensitivities than attackers. Defenders mostly look in the same direction (out of the base) and thus have a large mouse movement for just small area to cover in game. This allows you to fire more accurate.

Attackers need to be able to turn completely with small movements of the mouse (costs less time), in order to shoot multiple enemies coming from everywhere around, and thus need a higher mouse sensitivity. Less accurate aim, but much more moveability.

It's up to you which you prefer.

I have my User.ini mouse sensitivity set at 1.15 and my Rapter windows setting at 05, anything above this makes playing UT for me impossible to hit any Player.

As regards frame rate, the higher the better with VSYNC on.
I have 85 Hz monitor setting but i have to set the NETSPEED to 5500 in odrer to have smooth graphics. The new server sometimes allows me to set Netspeed to 10000 - adsl speed).

But your settings will depend on your Computer spec, Monitor and line speed.

err probably no help then really......

Mouse sensitivity depends entirely on the type of mouse you have. I used to have a logitech 518 gaming mouse which I had the sesitivity set at .9 anything above 1 was just too sensitive for me, my movements were too eratic. Now I am using the G5 logitech laser mouse and the sensitivity is set at 2.4, but i can change it with a press of a mouse button . I can lower it or up it to a preset setting during game play.

As far as netspeed setting, it depends what I have for a ping. If I ping below 30 then I use around 12000 net speed. From 30-100 I set the netspeed at 10000. Anything over 100 varies my netspeed between 6000-8000, I cahnge it during game play when needed. Best you can do is play with different settings till you find something you like.

Mouse sensitivity really depends on your pointing device, i have 2.0 atm. I once read that it is a good idea to set it so that you are able to turn 180° without lifting the mouse, which is a good setting imho.
Desired framerate i have 25, when the framerate drops below that desired framerate, UT tries to reduce its settings dynamically to keep up with that framerate.
