The list of bands and artists that I have seen is quite long. (not as long as Jens though, lol)
I've seen: Stereophonics, Foo Fighters, Chemical Brothers, Kasabian, Natalie Imbrulia, Athlete, Rooster, KT Tunstall, Battle, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Basement Jaxx, Jamiroquai, Kaiser Chiefs, Lemar, The Bravery, The Futureheads, Do Me Bad Things, Interpol, Magic Numbers, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Fergie, Dave Pearce, Shapeshifters, Trophy Twins, Mauro Picotto.
Hey they were actually quite good, tbh. :] and irl Judge Jules is a nice guy we had a long conversation about tattoos, he's got some lovely ones...and another thing...i've tried to sneakily put them in to hide the fact that I am a secret lover of dance music :/
I haven;t seen much live yet, cause for most things i'm to young. But 5 years ago i went to idols 2 with 25 other ppl, was kind of fun 0o and on 13-12-2006 i went to see lostprophets live, and that was just amazing :f, and this year i'm going to pinkpop, festival with loads of bands * and lostprophets are also coming [a] * and i saw myopiah, but they aren't famous. and @ shut-it, you going to see Fall Out Boy in tilburg ? well, have fun there * jealous ^^ *
i went to see a great band last november in manchester. u might have heard of them, they're called the emo-loving-punk-hoffing-pimp-slapping-death-metal-killing-suicidal-homocidal-genocidal-emo-slit-your-throat-and-make-it-funny-i-will-also-disembowel-your-eye-sockets-from-your-brain-and-eat-it-with-peanut-butter-and-jelly band. their music is so hardcore it makes your eyes bleed, and it makes people cry inside just from listening to it.
- that's them in action.
they are in the guiness world book of records for the biggest con of money in the music industry, when they actually charged people for concert tickets. they are also in there for the longest band name and their album sold an amazing 14 copies. i own 8 of those copies.
There's no way I can name or remember all of them...
and no cronical order eather...
Led Zeppelin (twice), Blue Öyster Cult, Stones, Marillion, Joe Cocker, Black Sabbath (3times), Creed, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith (3 times), The Tubes, Greatful Dead, Ted Nugent, Guns'n'Roses, Yes, UFO, Deep Purple, Tom Petty and the Blackhearts, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Iron Maiden, 38 Special, Rush, Neal Young, Eric Clapton, Bob Seager, Boston, Megadeath, Kiss (I was at the concert where they taped some of the Kiss:Alive 1 album), Eagles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Montrose, Robin Trower, Starz, Hooters, Disney After Dark, Steve Miller Band...
there's prolly 20 more that I just cant think of right now, and I've seen anywhere between 150 and 200 local bands that play in this area... I love the atmosphire in small clubs with newcomer bands... it totally rocks.
I've always wanted to see Metallica, but the 2 times I had tickets to one of thier gigs, I had accidents that prevented me from going (broke my ankle, then the next time tore a muscle in my knee, both on the same day as the concerts) so I've stopped buying ticket for them
Some real classic bands, especially Rush my all time fave band.
It's location in the East Midlands and cost 145 for the weekend [Including camping fee]. There will be stalls there to buy food, beer etc! It'll be amazing!
