Thanks. Yea I was also bit amazed by the different look and feel during gameplay. Felt like it was all new.

What do you mean with prefabs ?

Yea, UT2004 community is more dead then UT community. When the game got released I could play tons of ONS, Mutant and CTF games but no now there are 0 mutant games, ONS sucks anyway and CTF is mostly normal weapons.

BunnyTrack is something to do outside the usual gamemodes, thats how I feel about BT. Should not be build for dead community.

Though I have to feeling I have to start from 0 in UT3 =D Since UT3 comes with UTeditor 4.0 due to newer engine.

PS. they should add back the Ordinary oldschool DOM mode instead of double domination. Double domination sucks so hard, spawnkill style.

You mean you made all the deco yourself ? O_o
Like the walls, tubes structures and the buildings you can see in the shade looking back in the lava room ?

No I didn't made them myself. All the pipes and static meshes are from excisting packages. Only ones I made myself are the pillars at the lava cross and the flatting walls =P

And the reflecting lava or water is FluidSurface actor. It creates almost realistic water/lava and using the correct texture it can reflect.

Always loved the original maps. They had the right feel
and they were very well designed. Many of todays maps are
just annoying instead of fun.

Nah, supposedly its still unreal engine 3, not 4, that will be in their next release.

But if you seen the screenshots of that unreal engine 3 (Newer one) They have animation graphs, emmiters, trigger trees, they have got EVERYTHING!

it looks so cool >.<

didn't um knight make ut2k4 map as well? I'm gonna try yours out now kaplan I played cn's which was nice as well gonna see what your's is like.

EDIT: lol kaplan that was fun redo some more maps please xD.

@ X_West: For UT3, maybe. For UT2004, no. Since it is kind of useless to map for UT2004 and waste of energy+time.

This was just a practise to get used with the editor. What I want to focus in UT3 is remapping the maps but also making them visually better. Like more details, surrounding, athmosphere.

If you compare UT Mountainbase with UT2004 one you will notice the difference in architecture and stuff.
