Another suggestion - Remove all the automatic text stuff on BT3 and BT4.
It's distracting, and if we are on those servers we already know the website address and stuff.
It's unnecessary imo.

I think it would be a lot better if the web records showed the actual top20 of uncertified + certified, but with the best certified time being the actual record (like the server shows <3 )

it's only because..as rankings don't seem to record (i think) for bt3+bt4 caps (certified times) i feel that capping a reasonable time on Bt1 means very little now...(and some people may never even certify any of their times...)

I thought of this because some maps can't possibly be cheated such as CTF-BT-(CN)Inca, whereby the fastest time *was* uncertified.

I am not saying the best time should be the record, i just much prefer the display the server "top 20" uses, as i find myself constantly unticking the "certified" box to get a spread of cap times (as many maps only have 1-5 certified recs)

i also appreciate you could have a map where the top 20 times are "lamed" and therefore the top20 times would have very little value except the one certified record (in this case), but i can't name a map that this is the case for...(plus this top20 works well enough on the server, so can't be very flawed)

so...overall...the server display for "top 20" records imo is the best it can be, and it is very good ( for a server mapvote)...

so my only proposal would be (if people want more information from the web records..which they may well do), is to have the option of "certified" and "uncertified" records to displayed, like now, BUT for it to not be the default..

So..(sorry to be patronising, i don't know if my rants make sense): Top20 times are shown, the certified times in bold. The best certified time counts as the record (like the server top20), with the option of "certified" top20, and "uncertified" top20 (like now), but for neither to be the default.

SO BASICALLY (rant rant rant Crying or Very sad

) web records to show the same top20 as the server, with the added option of uncertified/certified (neither one or the other as default)

other new ideas from me:

MapTimeLimit/Voting:

1# The timelimit are based on the Cap Time of the Voted map --> if a map have a Record with 1:20 and the 20th place are 1:40, the map got 20 min timeleft for playing, if the map have a Record with 3:50 and the 20th place are 6:20, the map got 25 min timeleft ...

#2 if its overtime and 2 or more players are very far, he can vote to get more timeleft --> if he vote ( !votetime ) add +10 min to the map he got 10 min left for the map and NO overtime. and only 2 timevotes for every LONG map ( based on the 1st and 20th place time )

MapVoting option:

give us a option to put the Forced Mapvote windows off, because if many ppls vote and the 50 second mapvoting are start, all ppls get the mapvote windows AND mapvote LAG and 90% dead ( if he are far ) and get angry. we need a option to set it off on mapvote/profil.

15HoursWarning:

please change the 15hourswarning. i know if i play more as 15 hours and don't need to get a windows on every map. set it to every day or a option to put it off.

it is very hard though, as people don't want to play 30 mins of BT-Kman, but a few might want 30+ mins for BT-sixteenyards-v2
..i think the mid-game mapvoting is your own preference, although i've got it atm and didnt try to change the settings, do i'll check that Mad

the extra time thing...people may abuse !add 10 mins, and your playign rating 1 for 40 minutes Razz

..and if overtime is decided by these players !add'ing time, then they are ending overtime for everyone else, which doesn't seem fair......maybe u can add the extra time but if it's still a tie after the extra time..then it's still overtime..which seems fair
getting complicated here, maybe could !add for 5 minutes extra, limited to 1/person/map and only available on rating 7+ maybe..but it sounds a very complicated idea Razz

maybe just have to live with 1 person capping a hard map in overtime only, and if an easy map is too long, just return for next map xD
