A while ago when Halo 3 Deluxe Edition was released there was lots of complaints about the DVD being damaged on purchase and Microsoft ended up replacing the DVD's because of the bad case design , the DVD was coming off the centre and moving around loose in the tin .
Here is a pic of the Halo 3 tin
This looks very similar to the UT 3 Collectors Edition tin as owners will reconise .
Im keeping my UT 3 DVD's in a slim CD case inside the tin to prevent any damge to the game or tutorial DVD's

As far as I know, the CE DVD's are in paper jackets (or however you call that in English).

i know they are in paper sleves but some people may be tempted to put them onto the CD holder centre on the tin itself after opening the paper sleeves which is how the Halo 3 DVD'S was getting damaged.

I thought you said they were damaged on purchase? If they were in the paper sleeves when bought (Halo 3) they wouldn't have been damaged.

She said the Halo 3 ones did not come in a paper sleeves thus being damaged.
If you put your UT3 disks out of the sleeves and into the tin then they could get damaged too and end up like the Halo 3 disks...
Though this time, you cant sue as its your own fault.
