Example,
Not played in like 2 years but i remember it well i think. imagine 2 teams of 5 and u stat in your own base and if your shot u go into jail its the first team to get all the other team in jail and then u win the round and u all spawn back in ya base.. but there is a button in the enemys base, were the flag usually would be, but if u push the button it opens the jail doors and your team m8s that are in jail are released to u back to a full team again..

i think its really fun cos u must defend your own button and also u have to stick together with ya team mate's no point in runnin alone or u a dead man walkin, there are loads of commen CTF maps like niven, comand, eternal caves, coret and loads more which have been edited to have a jail so its not like u have to learn lots of new maps either..

Jailbreak is where you have to capture the other team and release your team if required via a release switch.

+ theirs arena and secret ways to escape the jails. Wink

nah its not hard, not much different to CTF reall, only difference is if ya get shot you go to jail.. more team work involved i think but its really fun

anyway.. i was speaking with medic yesterday and he is trying to get some sort of vote for the map.. say the map is one you cant cap but you would like to improve your time on a different map then that would be great. but when you enter you get kicked, unless tyou can cap the map. now i had an idea that i forgot to mention if at the first obsticle there is a blocker. just like BT+ if you haven't capped the map so then you are able to then go and vote the map you want to paractise on.. good idea in my opionion.. what do others think.. but that means taking everymap there is and putting blockers in and also you would have to write a script to get the blocker working as well Very Happy

Very nice job on putting another bt server online. Gav mentioned it and i havin the same problem.

I don't think this blockers are nessecery. You have to modify 300 maps a lot of work.

Maybe its possible to write some sort of time kicker. If you didnt captured the map running on the server. You have 15 sec to vote another map. After 15 sec you get kicked.

(maybe also put the reasen why you get kicked instead of "failed")

Ok i voted for paldorsgate kinda lame but well yeah talking to kenbu only results in french misunderstanding. And this forum well no result till now.

Maybe an idea to give only the first player who joined the server voterights. If so ppl cant join in and vote the map away while som1 is on a good run. And also if there is no1 there, you can vote when enter and the server can be used by more ppl then the 6 meteora mentioned.

Anyway meteora kinda funny to call ppl nolife while you have 200 recs yourself Razz

This way, the average BT player might have better chances capping when the rushers are on the rush server Wink

But yes, there is a need to modify the rush server, because you are kicked immediatly. There is at least one map that no one capped yet, so if that map is voted, no one is able to enter - LOL
You get my point ...
Maybe the server could change map automatically to a map almost anyone has capped - Maverick for example - so anyone can enter and vote. And there should be an option in mapvote to show the maps you have already capped. There are so many maps out there ... i cannot remember which map i have capped or not. I have no clue if that is technically possible/difficult - just an idea.
( That option would be great for the normal BT1 too ! )
