Leave iTDM or do iTDM/iJB?

I just wondered if it might be more interesting for some of you if there was an iTDM/iJB (JailBreak) server instead of simply iTDM. It's a pity that the server is unplayed, except a few despaired players (like me) playing against the bots...

So, what do you think?

never played JB, so don't have an opinion. If it was there, I would surely give it a try, though I can't guarantee that I would keep playing it. Depends on the amount of fun Smile

I prefer iJB server than the BT Rush server... But then i wont use the rush server.
Then again i like iJB over iDM anyway

It is not meant as in exchange for BT Rush. It is meant as a modification of the iTDM server which is already there.

its a team game
If you get killed you get sent to jail and your team mate will have to doge bullets and suvive to get to the button that open the jil door but if all the team are captured you all die and that is like 1 cap to the opeset team like CTF.
and you have areana battels to fight for your freedom as well

that would be a good idea... last feburary i was always in zark's jail breakout servers and they were bloody amazing!! come on guys.. this is a great idea.. they had all of this in one server:

1.Assult (insta gib)
2.JailBreakOut(sniper)(fast shooting)
3.Deathmatch(insta)
4.TeamDeathMatch(insta)

great for a i4games server in my opionion Very Happy

Just a thought ...

Since the opinions of which server to use are very different, would it be possible to make some kind of a votemenu, where you make an 'overall' server. In the votemenu, you can put ITDM maps, JB maps, Assault maps all together. The one with the most votes wins. In that way you only need one server, and you have all the different possibilities to play.

If a JB map wins, the JB mod is loaded, if it's TDM, the TDM mod is loaded etc ...
Don't know it such a thing is possible Medic or CN?

Another point of thought. I have difficulties adding the servers to my favourites. Letter ip's don't work with me in my favs, only numeric ip's. And I don't have 'em. But right now there are 9 servers to put in your favs if you want 'em all. For some it might be interesting to do the following. You add one server, which is actually only one maproom, where there are 9 teleport pods. Each teleport pod leads you to a different server. Might even be possible to use the same script as on the right of this site, where one can see above the teleport pod the picture of the current map being played and the number of players.

I saw this once at a certain server, don't know which one.
If for some reason you change ism, you only have to change 1 favorite.

Don't know if this is a really big project or if it's just a small modification. Just spitting some ideas.

Mentor, thats how it is meant to be. Chosing by voring. Seen this on truffs (*cough*) before, but they mix iCTF and iJB, which I would not do. don't know how many ppl would play Assault... If it was me I'd say let's give a try Very Happy

I dislike that start-room idea like you described, coz you wont see whos on server (if in UT).

But the idea of JB + iCTF on one server is good.

@Mentor: Mapvote LA13 allows different mutators to be loaded for different games.
Anyway, I think the overall server will be a good enough idea Very Happy
