Irc logging in

when i log into the irc oyo i4games it says my user name is in taken i don't now why any ideas

p.s i am just new to IRC so it may be something silly!!

As far as I know you username on IRC has nothing to do with your username on i4g. IRC on quakenet has a huge amount of users, where one of them might use "your" nick.
