ACE is kicking me off server

Hi Guys, just joined, was an old UT player many years ago.

I am getting kicked off your servers by this thing called ACE, saying a hook has been found in CORE file. I am not using any cheats, never did and never would. Other servers I been on have been fine with ACE but was a newer version.

I am playing UT in WINE on a LINUX machine, was wondering if your ACE files need updating.

Ok it is deffinately the ACE that is doing it, because I just ran UT in windows xp with identical files and it ran sweet on your servers.

Ace does not like me using WINE in LINUX on the i4games servers, other servers running ACE have been ok

ACE is adapted to the OS you just mentioned tho. It should run fine on them.

Yes ACE should be adapted for running in WINE on Linux, thats what I am finding weird. On other servers running ACE I do not get problems. Anyway not a big deal, I either have to install UT on linux as native or stick to windows. At some time I will probably install it in Linux native to avoid WINE totally just its a pain in the (you know lol) and then things like Cache Cleaner wont work on my UT directory, which in WINE it does which is sweet.

Anyway I am playing from windows now, just I always found UT99 felt better running on Linux.
