Auto idle kick

In my opinion the new automatic idle kick is a bit strict, it kicks after 45 seconds or so.
Also i see no use of the idle kick if the server is not full.
Cant we have a more relaxed auto idle kick, like after 2 minutes and don't kick if server isnt full ? Smile

By relaxing it please think of what idlers actually do:

It happend once that 2 player on same team were not playing (one was on phone, the other one duno) for some time. In this time the other team had 2 more players and actually was dominating the game and won it. Of course noone did change teams, coz it still was 6vs6, but noone cared about the fact that 2 were not playing. That was not fun.

Then it happend several times, that it was 5vs6 or something (one team with one player less) and in the team with less ppl one has been idling for some time. It was "really" 4vs6 then and situation ended as described above. Saying teams didnt help "shut up, teams are even" or "what you wanna even out on 5vs6"... Yah, not fun either.

I don't wanna forbid idling, coz phone goes sometimes or whatelse, but idling to long is just crap and its ruining the game for the others. Think about it. Maybe mark players names red in the score-table (F1) if they're idling more than 30 secs, so other would see it. Coz if you can idle as long as you want you a) ruin the game coz teams are uneven b) maybe block slot for ppl who would like to play (if server is full or something). It could also help if there were more specs slots, so you could change to spec for 1-2 mins without leaving game....

Some of you might laugh now but you should think about it, ctf is a team game and it gets ruined if teams are not (at least a little bit) even.

I got an auto idle warning while I was trying to hide with the flag, is there any way it can be taken off when you have possesin of the flag? Or is hiding in your base with the flag against the rules...because I havent seen that yet.

I know, sometimes you just need a few secs. But it should not take too long, coz its ruining whole game. If its taking longer then there is something to do about (post above). Also if server is full and ppl waiting to join you cant just idle a few mins... Its way more complicated as the most think...

Ok auto idler on ctf yea maybe leave it but anyway you get points for your personal score not for win ore loose. When i feel teams are unfair i just go camping ore laming ore doing something crazy so its still fun ^^.

. For example i was pretty far in a level. Then i fell of a mover but i could just hold crounch so i was bugflying somewehere in the air, hopin another player of my team would touch the mover so i could FINALLY capture Smile

. Then Idler just kicked me LOL. make it 2 mins atleast on bt imo. Rolling Eyes

There is absolutly no reason whetsoever to camp or lame. And idlers that havnt been kicked by the auto-idler-kicker, will surely be kicked if a trustee notices it.

And... 2 mins in crouch??? I would rather fall or suicide and start all over then Jer.

the post soleil made was actually pretty accurate imo.

The markings in red might be a good plan, but the player who stops playing untill the opponent is back, is yet to be found!

so basicly: it wont really work.
imo the time should stay the same
peeing can be done in the mapswitch time ffs!

1. don't worry I don't play ctf now and am not planning to.
2. Im not quite sure what laming is.
3. Camping is pretty boring. I usually have same amount of grabs as the whole other team.
4. Anyways srry ^^ Start using it against me then cmon you have just opinions no facts. If you would find one demo of me camping ill pay ya 10 euro mate even for 1 min Razz
